R is doing better today (so far). He still won't really eat, so I'm shoving as much milk in him as I can... with extra cream. We have a follow-up appointment on Thursday, so no daycare until at least Friday.
ETA: He's also getting molars (four of them), so that probably contributes to not wanting to eat.
Daycare just texted that Miss G's temperature is 100.3F and she refused to eat lunch. I see where this is going :-(. I might take her to the walk-in clinic for an RSV swab just to make sure.

@feegan She seems fine besides congestion and being tired once she got home. She refused grapes for a snack, not actually a whole lunch. I suspect she didn't want to eat grapes and perhaps daycare is either being jumpy or doesn't want her there because of R's diagnosis.

Honestly I was surprised to see that your D.C. didn't ask you to keep her home, I think you're probably right

That's frustrating. Hopefully she was just having an off day and you won't have her coming down with RSV just as he's getting over it. FX!
Did anyone have super small twins? My girls are staying at the very bottom of the growth charts, but they seem perfectly healthy and happy. My DD1 was also on the small side so the pedi isn't concerned. I just want to make sure they're getting enough BM.
dke2010, A was off the charts small. He finally hit 25th percentile for height at his 12m appointment. My pedi told me she wasn't worried because his cheeks were so full and his legs so chunky- so long as he was following his own growth curve, my pediatrician wasn't concerned.
bocaburger, anything is possable. Baby girl just rolls one way but she wants to just move, she can moves backwards a bit and just needs a bit more power. I not ready for this either.

W currently only rolls left and is scooting without meaning to. He has the right idea for full on crawling, but isn't quite coordinated yet. I really hope it takes him quite a while to figure it out. Z is still trying to figure out rolling.

As long as they are on the charts and following their curve there shouldn't be any concerns. Someone has to be the low end and someone has to be the high end.
Also, they might have big growth spurts! My girls were 25th% for height and weight at their 2 month checkup and this morning at their 4 month we found out that they jumped to 50th% weight (about 13.5 pounds each) and 75th% height (25 inches).

At their 2 month appointment, Z finally made it on the growth chart, but is definitely on the lower end (1%for height and 7% for weight). I think she'll be higher for weight at the next appointment. She just needed time to put on all that weight she should have put on in the last few weeks.
Your girls were earlier than my two were, right? If it helps, look at their adjusted age for height and weight. Our ped plots both, but isn't really concerned for my two.

My girls were born at 35+2. At their 3 month appointment they were 8lbs9oz and 8lbs10oz. Both 21.5 inches. Hopefully they'll have a big growth spurt at their next appointment so I can stop worrying!

Man! Sorry you guys are all not feeling well! I just popped in to ask what in the heck I'm supposed to keep these twins in while we share a room for the first few months. I cant find anything reasonably priced and sized. My room isn't that big and I certainly can't fit a full sized crib. Maybe two rock n plays? I thought they might want to sleep together though.

Mine are currently in rock n Plays. I like how portable they are. I move them around the house as needed.
DVMmomma, we did 2 RnPs- much more flexible space wise because you can put them side by side or end to end or angled. They are SUPER portable so when we took them on an emergency road trip at 7 weeks, it was no big deal. If you want them to be together, a PNP or the arms reach cosleeper, or even a minicrib would work early on. Mine never cared to snuggle, and mostly just annoyed each other.

Yep, this! Mine were in rock n plays until 4 months when they kept trying to stretch out. They slept great in them until then and it was obvious they wanted more room. Now, they're each in their own pack n plays in our room. I thought they'd want to share but they sleep better alone. Maybe they were too squished for 9 months? Lol

We have the Graco twin PNP (it has 2 bassinets). It has worked really well for us. They are 5 months old and just outgrew it.
