I slept like shit last night. Could not fall asleep, randomly got nauseous for 2 hours, tossed and turned more, then DH calls me at 5am! I'm happy he called, don't get me wrong. He was out with friends in Portland and told me most of the gossip. I'm definitely getting coffee this morning, and napping when she does. I am exhausted.
28 week appt is tomorrow. I imagine I'll probably be up 3-6 pounds from 4 weeks ago, and fully expect to get side-eyed by my slightly weight obsessed doctor if it's on the 5 or 6 end. And since I barely passed my 1 hour, I'm irrationally afraid she's going to want me to do the 3 hour. And I hate having my bp taken and they haven't been letting my husband come back for that part of the appointment. Basically not excited. At least he has off so we can hit up the really good bagel shop afterward!
We are experiencing a heat wave here. This weekend the heat index is gonna be about 120F. I have to somehow get an entire house cleaned this weekend for a real estate inspection.
Also my baby starts school on Monday. Im excited and sad at the same time.

iqeb, good luck. Why can't your H come back during the BP? Are you the one who gets asked if you feel safe every appointment? Maybe you can tell them that you'd like to have him there for that part. They should accommodate you.

Thanks, I'm gonna try. Kaiser sure does love their protocol though

Yes they do! I had Kaiser when we lived in OR. I'm now trying to remember if DH ever came back with me for my BP and weight. I think he was allowed back with me once they got to know him. He came to every single appt, except one where they put me on a NST. He blamed himself (men!), and never missed another.
