Every time someone comments on my size, I've started retorting that he's actually been consistently measuring behind. That gets them to shut up and backtrack. I really hate the "you're so huge already!!!" comments...
hpnegirl those comments suck. Who thinks we want to hear that?
I'm working from home today. It's freezing outside (apparently we're one of the coldest places on earth today) and I do not want to leave the house.
I think I have a sinus infection. I'm debating whether I should just wait till my OB appt next week or go in this week to walk in (which is a huge pain and a long wait).

lastkiss I'd go into a walk in. That's what I did and my ob told me that it was better since they have better tools to look at stuff. I got antibiotics and started feeling better after a few days of it.
A/s today! Squeeee!!! I keep thinking about it so of course the morning is dragging.
Work has been extra crazy lately, and my commute changed a bit, so I've been very MIA lately. Booooooo.
I think my iPad is nearly too old for updates. I really don't want to replace it. Fx it stays alive until a Christmas or birthday or something... I got it in 2010 or 2011 I think. It's a tech dinosaur.
BabyStandish, I love lemon poppy seeds. Too bad I already went grocery shopping this morning or I would have gotten some.
I'm working a later day today, 1-8:30 because I have a training at the office for my employees tonight. Got a lot done this morning with DH at daycare!

Your DH went to daycare this morning?! Sure must have been nice to have him out of your hair, lol!! ETA: I wish my DH would go to daycare, hahahaha.
I am exhausted. DS#2 was just from midnight to 2 am due to his damn 1 year molars coming in....HATE those things! He was a mess and I had just fallen asleep when he woke up - so obviously I was up too late anyway. Need all the coffee. I have a work dinner with a vendor tonight and I really don't want to go, especially since I can't divulge in some nice wine with my dinner! Wine is the only thing that makes these things tolerable, lol.

I am home sick today. I took Delsym last night to try to help my cough and it left me feeling shaky and not able to sleep all night. I had the same reaction to Mucinex years ago so I think I just can't take that kind of stuff. Then I ended up nauseated and vomiting this morning. Top that with my cold and I think I officially just have the funk.
Sorry to those feeling sick and exhausted. I hope you are able to rest.
Now I want a muffin.
We had our followup a/s today, and I AW'd in that thread. It was so cool to see her move around, she seems so much bigger than just a couple weeks ago! OB says that the baby looks great, and that I do too. That eased a lot of my fears.
I am determined to go to the gym today, come hell or high water.
We had our AS today so I updated in that thread. Everything is healthy and on track! I need to spend some time in the baby names board because my gut feeling was 100% wrong!
DS is also one serious grouch today so that's been a joy. Getting him dressed this morning should count as some kind of Olympic event!
Happy Hump Day yall. Our rough week has continued, DS' croup got really bad last night and we ended up in the local ED. 3 doses of racemic epi later he was still no better so he got his first (and hopefully ONLY) "wee ooo wee ooo" ride to the Children's Hospital. He thankfully looks much better now, and we are being well taken care of (perks of working here I guess haha). Hopefully back home tomorrow if all goes to plan!!
Ugh, add me to the list of sick people. I caught a cold and given the timing am pretty sure I got it from DD, who is still sick, although to be fair there are so many sick people in my office right now that there was probably no avoiding it no matter what. This is the fourth time I have been sick this pregnancy - also I was sick twice in July before I got pregnant so really the past 6ish months have kinda sucked when you look at it that way. Anyway, about half my office is out this week at a large offsite meeting (in southern FL of course, so jealous) but at least it's quiet and I was able to come home early today and rest a bit.
On a separate note, hpnegirl I also keep getting comments about how big I am (or how much I popped over my 12 days off for the holiday) and someone asked me yesterday if I was ready for this baby to come yet. Um, no... 3.5 months to go. To be fair though, I am definitely bigger this time, both stomach and boobs. I feel like looking at me now is more like my 7 months pregnant size last time. I know people notice it, but yeah don't need it commented on this frequently.
I will add it's not any more fun to hear, "you're so small" all the time either. I'm tall so my body doesn't physically show pregnancy as clearly as some. I wish people would just not comment on the sizes of pregnant people. You wouldn't comment on someone's physical size at any other time... The only proper thing to say to a person is, "you look wonderful".

I went to walk-in. It actually didn't take that long. Got some meds now. Hopefully they kick in soon.
Sorry to hear about your son @jmcbrick. I hope he feels better quickly!
I also have one who keeps asking how big my first was (8lbs 6oz)... when she commented on me being big already, I retorted that he's measuring behind. She then goes "oh, he'll probably catch up. Just hope he's not as big as your first!" She did a lot of backpedaling when I replied that he's been consistently measuring behind...

Ugh people. Just don't comment on women's bodies in general, should not be that hard.
Yep, got this a lot last time too. It's so obnoxious. Either tell me I look phenomenal or be quiet.
DS1 was due in early July and a woman told me at the end of April "oh he'll be here by may because you're too big!"...... thanks for wishing me a preterm baby. Wtffffffffff.
I wish I could have found her and told her he came at 40w on the dot ONLY because he was induced.
