Good morning nausea I hate you.
If I drink another ginger ale with lime lol. With this pregnancy I'm trying my hardest not to gain as much weight. Any tips? Part of me give no **** lol
Ok happy Thirsty Thursday
mom2boxers hugs. I know it's got to be cray cray. Will it slow down in February
@mrscatfarmer good luck today
becole how's the bottle training? If you want to test bottles we have every kind lol
@sstwinkinglites how is my sil?
@chripy1122 how'd the bday go?
bazingaa will we see you this month? Miss your sarcasm in person lol
I just keep trying to pump a little in the morning and try it or have someone else try it later. It's not fixed. I hope it works itself out and the daycare teacher is great.

mominthemaking14, I know my mistake when I was KU was I stopped working out. Before I got KU, DH and I were doing c25k and I stopped when I found out I was pregnant. Big mistake. I was like "oh, I'm pregnant, I can't do that kind of activity, I have to sit on the couch and eat all the things!". Lol just don't be like me. I hope to do better next time.

mominthemaking14, this is me being a total hypocrite, but try to plan your snacks and make them high in protein. It will help you feel full longer, maybe help the nausea, and not cause you to gain weight or retain water like other choices could.

mominthemaking14 Maybe try drinking flavored seltzer so you're not drinking a ton of calories. Or you could do an herbal tea that has ginger. I have some Twinnings Lemon & Ginger at home that is really good, it's caffeine free too. I'm generally a enjoy everything in moderation. Some other ideas to help control weight gain: one meal a day to be whole30 compliant and adding veggies to meal to help you fill you up.
becole I'm sure G will not be the first bottle resistant baby DC has encountered. Are you planning to nurse on your lunches like you did with C? Just keep working at it. If there's one thing I have learned from being a parent, it's to maintain consistency.

Quick question: The interviewer told me this won't be formal , just a few followup questions and he wanted me to meet his lead person. Should I send a post interview email to the lead, and how should I word it? Something like, "It was nice to meet you and I look forward to possibly working together." I know you normally want to touch base on some selling points, but should I even worry about that in the email to the lead?
He's supposed to start Jan 23 but I may take more leave if it's not fixed. I will nurse at lunch only if I have to. That's not the plan this time.
Have you asked DC for tips? Could you try easing him into it? Go half days for a week etc... I know it's easier said then done but like others said he can't be the first kid to experience this

Yes I've talked to director. Waiting for the director to tell me when I can bring him in. I'm sure he's not the first but I think this daycare is probably 90% formula. It's a rare issue even with Bf babies I feel like.

I would worry that nursing at lunch could make it worse, if the teachers start to make some progress on the bottles in the morning and then you show up with the good stuff. He might just need to go "cold turkey" on the tatas.
I think something along those lines would be good @mrscstfarmer13. Then once you meet the person, you might be able to add in something more detailed about a point in the conversation or reiterate why you're a great fit. GL!!!
With DD, I felt like crap and the only thing that helped the nausea was food. Then when i started feeling better, i was still so tired and working insane hours so no time or motivation.
With the twins, too sick plus trying to take it as easy as possible to keep the babes in. I'd be up for walking when it gets warmer. But they already feel like they're trying to come out. Hoping the dr can ease my mind today and tell me that feeling is normal. It's a pressure that's really low.

If they're making progress, I won't go. If my 3 month old refuses to eat for 4 hours I will probably go.

Birthday was a little bit of a flop. He seems a little sad about it which makes me feel bad. I'm going to try to go home a little early tonight so we can go to dinner or something.

Agreed mrscatfarmer13, short ans sweet with a tie back to something good you mentioned or learned during the interview is a great idea.

becole could you try to do a few daycare trial runs the week before you start work? I feel like daycare teachers have seen everything and may just have the magic bottle touch. Maybe you can see if you can drop him off for a trial run one morning. That way you can come get him if he's not eating and it might put your mind at ease when you go back. It'll also give you a couple hours to get a haircut or run some errands before heading back into work.

mominthemaking14 - I hate to say it, but most moms I know with 2+ kiddos, gained more weight faster. Or gained about the same, but faster. The best you can do is eat healthy and workout.
becole - I really have no advise. Just don't despair. G won't starve. This will work itself out.
mrscatfarmer13 - I think a cute email like you mentioned should be just fine. It doesn't seem like a formal interview, more like a meet and greet.
Z has slept in his crib a little later the last couple of days and has been super fussy. This morning I went in to him and the crib covered in vomit. Put him in the tub to clean him up and he had diarrhea in there. Ran to the ped for open office hours, just to be safe since he has a temp. Threw up all over himself and his car seat and somehow I don't have extra clothes today.
I'm struggling with my Grandma's sewing machine and am not happy with what it's doing. I'm trying a few other sewing machine that we have around, but haven't come up with a great solution yet. I need DH to grab mine from storage and see what I can do with that. I'm just frustrated with fighting with them and screwing up my fabric.

FX everything is ok lindsay. Have you thought about one of those stabilization belts to help give your belly more support? I know they're pretty common with multiples.
Interview went well. He told me that this was just to appease HR because they were going to make him fill out a ton of paperwork explaining why he hired me without an interview. He asked me two questions and then just talked about the different aspects of the job.

I'm not too worried, mainly just uncomfortAble. I have a friend that offered her support band, just need to get it. She said it helped a lot with her twin pregnancy.
