Hope it's ok if I ask this here...been a while since I used OPKs. Didn't use them for my rainbow pregnancy, just for 2nd and 3rd losses. My question is, do you see the line get darker as O day approaches or does it just suddenly get darker? I believe O day is CD around 12/13/14 for me, so I started OPks CD 10 and all 3 days so far are identical in color, much lighter than control line. I can't remember what how it went for me in the past...using Wondfos.
I'm sure everyone's experience varies, but thought I would ask!'

Oh sheesh, it's been awhile (2012 I think?!?!). But I remember mine being gradual. Like, they would get darker as I got closer to O, then I'd have 1-2 days of as dark or darker than the control line, than they would fade back out.
Not sure if that helps, hopefully someone who has used them more recently can chime in!

You may see a gradual change, but what is important is that the test is as dark as control on the same strip. I liked the use the clear blue easy to confirm but those can get pricey. Good luck!!!!
I hated trying to figure out the Wondfo opk tests. I always used those and then once they started turning color, I used the digital to find the actual fertile day. (Sorry, I'm not much help.)

I remember mine getting gradually darker but my positive was super dark and it seemed like the test line went from a medium dark to a super dark on the day it was positive.
Thanks all! I went with Wondfos just to save money and have lots to pee on! I did see a gradual darkening over the 5 tests with only positive being today, CD 14. Of course after only DTD on CD 11, H was struck by a nasty stomach bug. Oh, well! Maybe better luck next month.

I've been using Wondfo OPKs again for the last several months and mine gradually get darker, but it's a pretty big jump about a day before my surge. When it starts getting dark like that, I start testing at least twice per day, and I can clearly identify the surge. If I don't think of it and only test once a day, I sometimes don't catch a positive but I can still figure out when it would have been since the lines fade pretty quickly after that for me.

I'm crossing my fingers anyway. I don't want to give false hope, but sometimes those little swimmers can live for awhile in there. The cycle I got pregnant with Little Miss, we had sex two days before O and then not again until a week later.
Thank you...and my 1st pregnancy was actually conceived 3 days pre O so I do know it is possible...I guess anything is possible!
