Spent the morning putting together the drawers for DD's big girl bedroom furniture in preparation for DS's impending arrival (we'll be moving DD out of nursery and moving DS in). My body feels like it's been hit by a Mack truck just from doing that. Oh pregnancy.

Enjoying my coffee at the table while the boys watch soccer. Need to run to the store for a few items but it should be a quiet day, assuming DS doesn't puke again.
Hoping to get some knitting done on baby girl's cardigan.
Cute pup .. What's his name? My girl Freya will be five this year and I can't believe it. But she's been through a lot with me: my divorce and temporary housing after, living in a tiny condo with my new partner (now DH), a new baby, finally getting a house with a yard.

@wineandcupcakes awww, what a rough night. I was up at 1:30 with hypoglycemia on the phone with the advice nurse, that was fun. Are you taking anything for the reflux? I'm on 40mg pepcid twice a day (even not preggo) and it is a lifesaver
We're telling DH's family tonight. We'll tell his parents and sister first, before we go to the family dinner to celebrate his grandfather's birthday. When the family goes back to his house for cake, we'll give him his present.

. I can't see sigs on Tapa but I'll have to look on desktop later. My ex and I got two dogs while dealing with IF. He kept Thor, the German Shepherd, who will be 7 this year. We got them both as puppies. I'll probably never get another puppy and may not even get another dog right away after Freya. We just don't have a lot of time for her these days
@wineandcupcakes last night was rough for sure. I had a feeling my sugar might be off last night because I was queasy after cleaning up from DS being sick and none of my usual snacks with protein were palatable. I'm fine this morning thankfully.
@rajamd have fun breaking the news!
@xamountofwords how old is your sister and your husband? I was born in 81 and have pictures of me in a bucket seat. It's a very different design but they existed. Though now I'm curious about DH, who was born in 70.

Such cute pups .!! We have two pups who are the center of our world...they're in for a rude awakening later this year, I'm afraid!
We are getting our fence fixed and a plumber is fixing our toilet, sinks and a leaking bathtub tomorrow! I love getting these things taken care of! We have only had one shower for two years and no tub bc of the leak, so this is great.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
H had to go in and round this morning, so I picked back up on clearing out our office/second bedroom. Not only do we need the space for baby, but we're about to get our floors replaced and need to get rid of anything we're not using so we don't have to move around so much stuff. Thankfully we don't have to move out while they do the work, but we will have to shift things around the condo depending on where they're working that day.
We don't have plans today except H wants to go out to dinner. His friends who have little ones told him we should eat out as much as possible now, so I guess we're starting tonight!
@xamountofwords I'm loling at your husband thinking he'd never had a carseat. I'm a year older than him so I was definitely confused by the claim.
We're supposed to have a date night but I'm just exhausted (I've done nothing today to warrant it, except some walking). Maybe I can see if he wants to do it tomorrow night.
wannabmama, I'm a bit worried how our dogs will take it. I'm hoping our post-birth visitors will help.
We are here just trying to find something to do. For the first time in forever, we both want to actually leave the house and do something. The problem is we live in a smaller town and it appears there is nothing to actually do.
My bras now are just uncomfortable. Just buy a regular size up? What do you do?
I've never found an actual maternity bra, in either pregnancy. I've just sized up as needed. I tried nursing bras with my first pregnancy and hated them so stuck with sizing up in regular bras
Bras are eluding me as well. In fact, all breastfeeding stuff is. I got one nursing tank and 3 nursing bras plus some breast pads and nipple cream. I figure I'll buy more stuff and BF storage, etc if it's something that I can do/am continuing to do.
This is the best way to go. Plus your size could change again when your milk comes in. Get enough to start and then order more if you need it.
I never found a maternity bra that fit. I either sized up a regular bra or wore my nursing bras.
Last night I woke up with not only a killer charley horse, but then my arm and hand were also numb. That was fun trying to rearrange myself without injuring myself more while trying to deal with the muscle spasm.
Welcome to my world. It's a sucky one from an arm/hand perspective. This is literally why I can't sleep. My upper arms are sore all the time and I always wake up in horrible discomfort.
Why is there not a sex swing type contraption for pregnant sleeping that removes all pressure from the body while supporting it gently?
I bet if we put some pillows in the sex swing it might be okay to sleep in:

I think nesting is starting to kick in. I threw out a ton of lotions, make up, and nail polishes. I cleaned our medicine cabinet of expired cold meds and organized each shelf by category of medicine.

My parents arrive tomorrow night!! Usually I'd be in a tizzy to get the house perfect but they understand. I did clean the toilets and the floor got partially washed last night from DS sickness issue.
Tomorrow we move the changing table into the office/baby room and put a bunch of stuff into the shed since it finally stopped raining. I'm feeling pretty ready to meet this baby!

I'm walking this thin line of being tired but also wanting to go downstairs and organize things. My feet are cramping so I want to stay on them because putting them up in bed isn't helping. I think I need more potassium in my diet.
I'm on amazon adding all kinds of storage containers to my cart. I won't buy until tomorrow. I want to check out the dollar store first.
FFSC: I've only been to the dollar store 2 times as an adult
I love the dollar store for plastic baskets for organizing drawers and cabinets. Life seems so much more organized when everything is separated into baskets.
We've been deep cleaning one room every weekend for a while now. All that's left is the kitchen and the guest bathroom. I need to figure out a solution for the bathroom. That's the one I mostly use, where I do my hair, makeup and usually shower. DH uses the master bathroom. But the guest bathroom will become the kids bathroom. So I need to decide if I want to move out of there and start sharing with DH or just organize/purge my stuff so I can share with the kids.
