Hi. I'm off school today, thankfully because I'm still feeling pretty trashed today, though I'm doing better than yesterday.
We have a leak in basement so I'm just sitting around until our builder comes by to check it out. I'm hoping it's the water meter valve or something since it's over on that side, and not a leak from the outside.

Welp. DS rolled out of bed twice last night and came out crying both times. Thinking we'll move to a mattress on the floor sooner rather than later. Was also up with DD1 twice which made for a really short night of sleep. Crazy that the 1 year old sleeps the best....
We're probably hitting the playground in a few since there's no school today. Really need this baby to start walking!!
obscurereference, I wanted E walking too. Now I can't keep up with her. She's turning into a runner, for real.
Yea. But it would really make my life easier with the older two. Hopefully she'll just run after them! Also tired of all of her pants and socks getting totaled from crawling around outside. Holes everywhere. Andplusalso she's 30 lbs. My back is a wreck.

We put the toddler rail on DD1's bed and tried to take the pacifier away. She didn't nap today but is asleep right now with her pacifier. I'm taking it as a win that she's in her bed and will deal with the pacifier later. H is home for a week and then will start his new job on Monday.

Hi all! I am not so happy to be back at work, but thankful it's a short week and payday week.
On a different note, I am completely loving the toddler stage we are in. EG is so much fun lately. I love that we can go outside and she can run around and slide and ride her little fourwheeler around. I'm going to savor this fun phase and enjoy it before the terrible twos or threenager stage hit us!

Also, I posted this on FB but I know everyone isn't over there. Does anyone have experience with an individual short-term disability policy? I am currently appealing a denial by my employer-offered coverage, but I want to know what my other options may be.
obscurereference, if you have a pool noodle laying around, you can put that under the sheet at the edge of the bed to help prevent the rolling out. In a pinch, a rolled up blanket under the sheet will do too.
We had a pretty good weekend! Some ups and downs, but overall successful- I'll take it! DH woke up to really bad anxiety this morning, so that was tough, and I don't think I'll be able to do the march this weekend. I think Margs is teething again. I got some more yarn yesterday, I'm half way through a scarf for DH!
And I am so excited for this short week. The kids both have school BUT I have Friday off. It is going to be glorious. And then next week is short too because we go up to Philly for Margs's appointment.

DD1 has pink eye in both eyes thanks to my nephew. DD2 doesn't have it yet so hopefully it skips her. H is going a little stir crazy being home but we went through clothes and toys and donated a lot of stuff today, it felt great!
Margs had to have a couple of wipes to sleep tonight. While she was nursing, she was rubbing them all over my chest and face. I was like gee thanks dear
DD randomly threw up once last night and then was fine. No idea why. She then slept one of her best nights ever. I don't think she even cried once!!! I wish I could figure out what makes the difference.
We spend so much time analyzing and speculating what made a night or a nap really good, or really bad. It's practically a sport in this house, lol.
Oh hey! My kiddos are finally starting to feel better- they came down with that nasty cold going around big exciting news- DS1 pooped on the potty this weekend!! Now he's still having accidents but baby steps. Sorry I'm not around to much!
Q - diaper rash, do any other LOs get it often which appear to be caused by food? DD is getting diaper rash a lot and I can seemingly point it to a lot of fruits. So wondering if lots of kiddos have that issue or if it is a sign of intolerance (fruits include mange, strawberry, and apples?
Could be. Fruits that are citrusy can irritate too.

We went to the ER last night because DD1 had a 104.9 fever. She has a really bad double ear infection. We are switching off Tylenol/Motrin to keep her fever down since it won't stay below 102. Hoping the antibiotics start working.
