I'm up, lying in bed because P is still sleeping. Usually she's up by 6. I guess she likes her own room! She did wake once around 2am— I think it's because she fell off her bed. We decided to do no crib for her new room and we're going to set it up in the toddler bed configuration (her crib is one of the ones from IKEA that converts) but right now she's actually just on a mattress on the floor, so the fall was about 3 inches. I think she was just confused when it happened. She went back to sleep pretty quickly. All, in all, I'll call the night a win!
Going to work on unpacking today and make lists of immediate needs (the safety latches for cabinets, cleaning supplies, etc) and eventual needs (e.g. bookcase) for our new place. Yay!

Yay th3stryck3r! M always sleeps better when he is in a different room from us. I'm waiting for DH to get out of the bathroom so I can shower. I have to work today and daycare is closed so we have a sitter. Which is convenient but the cost is annoying.
N STTN but woke up when MHs alarm went off. I cannot wait to have a house where his room is so close to ours. He's currently sleeping beside me in our bed.
Picking up groceries, laundry for days, and meal prep today.
W slept in today because H didn't snooze his alarm a million times he had to get into work to start a new guy so I really hope his day isn't too stressful. I just plan on going to walmart and folding/ doing laundry today.

You know my life! I dream of a house where I have my own bathroom and a room on the other side of the house.
We are hoping to buy this spring/summer and one of the main things I want is a master bedroom far away from Ns room. Basically I want his room tucked in the back of the house so we don't have to even walk by it haha. I have a speshul snowflake light sleeper for sure.
This morning i had too: 1. get myself ready, make up and hair 2. feed my garabage disposal kids (2 pancakes each, a slice of toast, and a breakfast cookie and they still wanted more) 3. make my lunch, and today is the 1st day of measuring everything out so i can keep an accurate log of my calories. so my normal 10 minutes turned into 20 minutes if not longer. 4. get extra plastic bags and coffee grinds in car for school. 5. remember the milk for school 6. get both kids dressed, hair brushed and shoes on. oh and teeth, brush the damn teeth. 7. make much needed coffee 8. make green smoothie. 9. remember everything that is needed for today that i haven't listed out yet.
Got my workout in this morning, the rest of my day will be spent working on laundry, organizing some closets, and I think I'm going to try to make healthy monster cookies... We'll see
layloo08 my house isn't huge, but the master and guest bedroom are at one end So when you stay with me we cam at least avoid going near it once he goes to sleep. We'll just go drink on the deck!
@janetheconquerer, I don't make much $$ but working for the state has its perks when it comes to time off . We won't get a raise until another election year. Call it even? Lol

+1 to being jealous of those off today! M STTN! Day 3 of sleep training, and he squawked once for a second, but then slept until 6:30! I've realized the bottle was more our crutch than his. So happy to be done with the damn bottles (he was only getting one MOTN, but still).
At work, and trying to get my head in the game (clearly not working, as I'm checking in here). We are having to figure out some Financials, but looking like good possibility moving into a new build, may be what we are doing. I'm trying not to get too excited until those things are figured out and stuff signed...but damn I'm excited! Lol

I'm always surprised at what wakes w up. Like we could drill and vacuum downstairs but if the door knobs juggles from a breeze he's wide awake. Drives me crazy trying to make sure he stays asleep.
