I got 7 straight hours of sleep last night. DS2's molars must have stopped pushing through temporarily. I'm not complaining about the sleep but I wish they would just get through the gums already.
I was unpleasantly woken up last night to my 2 year old coughing and puking, which in turn woke up my 1 year old. So, while cleaning up puke at midnight (which of course was all over her, in her hair, and her bed) last night, both kids were crying/screaming, and my husband is gone for work (of course), so i was handling it all solo. I finally went back to bed at 2 a.m., but my 1 year old proceeded to wake up every hour from that point on until finally getting up at 6 a.m. What a night. So, so tired. Here's hoping what little coffee I now drink will get me through this day!
DS seems better. DD I don't know. She wanted to eat yesterday, so I let her. Well, she threw up last night at supper. So today, I'm starting her over on food. Essentially, I'm arguing with my 2 year old on why she can't have a poptart or donuts for breakfast.

Commiseration. My four year old did the same thing at midnight last night

My parents are coming to visit this weekend so we're telling them our news and I am SO excited! We're giving them a onesie that says "I love my grandma & grandpa". My mom was just texting me the other night suggesting that I get my thyroid checked again because it can affect fertility (she knows we've been trying since April). I think we're telling MH's parents on Sunday so that'll be really nice too

You go mama! DD gags over so much (mostly just for attention anymore), but I've already told DH that if she starts puking I will be running to the toilet myself. After having DD I can handle puke a lot more, but sometimes when not KU it gets to me, so I know it will push me over the edge now. I guess if I were home alone I would suck it up and do it, just not sure if I would be able to do it without sympathy puking myself.

Congrats doodler!! So exciting! Are you all done now with betas? My doctor said I could keep going back until my apt in a week and a half but I think I'm good.

They want me to come back on Monday. I'm assuming they will schedule me for an ultrasound soon but I was so excited when she called that I forgot to ask!
AFM, I smashed my finger on one of our kitchen drawers that slipped off the track. It got just the tip of it, but it turned purple immediately. I don't think it's broken, but ouch! Poor H, he already has a honey do list a mile long tomorrow!

I just looked back at all my bump pics from when I was KU with dd and I somehow forgot just how big I got...it kind of scares me this time just knowing how humongous I'm going to be...in the middle of the summer with a toddler.

I second that. My last baby was 9lb 11oz and born in July. I was enormous. My goal for this pregnancy is to walk more. I also want to swim more now that we have a pool. It's really awesome when you are at the end of your pregnancy because it is the only time you feel relief from all that belly.

MS (though relatively mild, knock on wood) has definitely started this week, but it's actually mostly in the evening. With dd I think it was more in the morning. But what's the same is I'm still the weirdo who wants strong flavored, rich (as in with more fat than what h and I mostly eat), foods. Bland carbs just make me feel worse.
I miss ibuprofen. (Headache) Also Mucinex. Thought it was ok but just checked and no for at least 1st tri.
Totally worth it for the outcome, but ... Still neex to vent/whine a bit now.
No Mucinex? That's on the approved list of meds my OB gave me. I took some this past weekend when I was sick. I sure hope it was okay to take!
Hope you're feeling better soon!
I don't know ... The lists are so confusing because they aren't all the same. When I searched last night what I found said not ok in 1st tri. And today when I called midwives' office with questions she confirmed that. But I was still surprised because it's often recommended while TTC so then it's surprising that is ok but 1st tri isn't, plus I thought last time it was on the safe list. Anyway taking it one time can't be too a big deal and all the guidelines err on the safe side with not much data because studies testing stuff on pregnant women don't get done much, because bad idea.
The midwife did say it's ok to take a single dose of aspirin once in a while 1st and 2nd tri and that can help headaches better than Tylenol which is usually useless. I had totally forgotten about aspirin - need to go get some.
Headache finally did go away, though - thank you. But it was godawful this morning so on the way to school I caved and took a little (half my usual dose) of the good migraine stuff because last pregnancy I swear the OB in that practice, the one time my appt was with her not a mideife, said it was ok once in a while if nothing else was helping. And it did help. But then this afternoon midwife said no, should not take triptans. Augh. So, back to saying (and hoping) that just one time can't be that bad. It's category C not D.
