I'm so sick from the GTT, I tried putting it off and finding an alternative but with DS1 being huge they wanted me to attempt it. I've been vomiting or having the runs since this morning and feel miserable.

DD is still sick, DH and I are both tight on PTO, so my brother is watching DD this afternoon so DH can work a half day. He's never babysat for her before and I'm so nervous, even though I know he watched me a lot when I was that age (he's 9 years older) so he knows what he's doing. It's going to be a tense day!
Also, she hasn't had a fever since last night, I'm really hopeful it stays that way today so we don't have to cancel her birthday part tomorrow. I'm starting to get really worried.

Hello hello, Not much going on here today. We're having a string of rainy days so just hanging out inside. DH is on duty so he won't be home until tomorrow morning.

There's a big crowd of people at my office watching the inauguration in someone's cubicle. It's making me want to puke.
Andplusalso, my dept. was going to get take out for lunch today (company usually pays for us to do this once a month) and then at the last minute, it was announced that the whole company is getting pizza provided. We're ordering 7 pizzas for DD's birthday party tomorrow. DNW to be eating pizza today. So bummed.

Oh fuckity fuck fuck. I'm so miserable. Debating whether I can wrangle DD to the chiropractor office with me. I don't know if I can wait until tomorrow.

Do any of you ladies watch "This Is Us"? I'm not a mom of multiples but I felt like I could soooo relate to the mom on that show this week complaining about how crappy she felt.
It is so hot at my office. This was the wrong day to wear my hair down, wear a scarf and a sweater.
Anybody else considering getting some thinx for pp? Not for right away obviously, though my pp bleeding was actually lighter than a period already a few hours after birth last time (please universe let that happen again). I just remember being stuck wearing pantyliners for weeks because of spotting and it'd be nice not to have to!

I bought some reusable (washable) pads and I never used them. The whole thought was just weird to me. I do use a menstrual cup so it will be strange not being able to use that.

You are so lucky. I bled so much, MH thought I was going to die.

Nope, I wear pantyliners during the day normally anyway. The idea of thinx grosses me out, especially with the lochia that follows the bleeding. I was only in pads for about two weeks and then switched to liners for another two

I realize! Literally the only part of the process that went easier than expected!

Totally brought DD out in the rain to IHOP for dinner. Did not feel like cooking. Side note. She's two and I don't think I've ever taken her to a restaurant by myself. Ever. Lol.
I've been gone for forever. I really like sleep when I can. Toddlers make that hard.
I read the book series that we are naming this little boy after. So excited.
He's been squishing a nerve the last few days. Not cool since I got cupcakes the other day.
Still haven't gotten a maternity uniform for the Guard, I need to e-mail my new commander and be like guess what I'm showing up to your unit it.....
Oh and I ordered props/costumers for the newborn photos. I need to work on getting stuff together for the hospital photographer, because we got some amazing photos last time. You can still see Jo's hands were blue because she was about 17 hours old in those photos. And they turned out amazing because I had brought some stuff with us. A handmade blanket, a matching onesie, and a cute matching hat. It was perfect!
Waiting for my thyroid medication time to be up so I can go eat breakfast, I mean cupcakes. I hate having to be responsible in the morning having to decide medicine first or eat first and then regret having to wait forever to take my medicine.
Oh and does anyone know what kindergartners need to know these days going into school? I heard locally it's a lot more than what I anticipated so now I worry without preschool Jo won't be ready. So I am trying to do more to make sure she's on track. Basically they need to know all their letters and numbers through 10 (maybe 30?) and already read basic site words.... Um I remember learning about the letter people.......
blondie could you take your pill when you wake to pee at night? That's what DH does in order to have his coffee (he's also on synthroid)
I don't usually pee at night. which is odd considering all the bladder/ urinary problems I had as a kid. I usually don't have to pee until early in the morning and then I"m also hungry at that point. There have been times I've laid in bed for an hour trying to decide what I want to do and try to go back to sleep because I don't want to get out of the warm bed. I know, the struggle to be responsible shouldn't be this hard....
Survived my dental cleaning! Now to keep the kid occupied in the waiting room while H has his appointment. This is going to be even more fun next time, isn't it?
