Ugh no and it's in 2.5 months, but I think we will just take the boys to the zoo amd do cake at home. We just moved a month ago and we don't have all our friends amd family here
I think we'll just do a small gathering at our house. Probably a Daniel Tiger or MMC theme. And we'll probably go to the zoo since we got a membership for Christmas.

I think we are going to book the small gymnastic room at the Y where he does his rughoppers class.
We can invite 10 children, and we have friends that have children R's age. So it would be an hour in the gym and then an hour in the party room at the Y. Foods we are think fruits and veggies and sausage and cheese. Since some of our friends are gluten intolerant.
Memorial Day weekend we will be up at the cottage so we will do a cake up there to celebrate with family. One of H's cousin also has a daughter born close to Memorial Day weekend.
@tinyjoys, when you order from Screaming Owl do you size up? I want to order from their summer blowout, but I'm not sure what size to get. C is about to move into 2t but their website says to size up. I'm worried 3t would be too big.
I decided I wanted to do a birthday party and I'm planning it for the 2nd weekend in April, since my parents will be here anyways. I didn't have a big 1 year party because we were out of state, so this is kind of the big one for me.
We're doing a "spring" theme, because I love easter. I'm thinking lots of pastels and flowers. I'm excited.
M's is going to be the 21st. I'm slightly bummed to not have her party on her actual bday since it's a Saturday this year but we need to be in CA for Memorial Day weekend for a wedding so we didn't want to be there for 2+ weeks. And honestly since her birthday is my birthday I probably don't want to be throwing a party for someone who won't know the difference between that and a week later.
We will just do close family. Haven't decided if we are having a theme or not but im looking at "two-ty fruity" she love fruit lol.
That's a super cute idea!! I'm starting to second guess our Mickey theme, since the obsession isn't as strong these days. But homegirl loooooves her fruit still. I might have to consider this

We are doing Ks the day before her birthday because her actual birthday falls on Mother's Day this year. We are doing a party animal theme...Pinterest has a lot of cute ideas...so I'm stealing those. Zoo figurines with party hats, animal print paper plates/napkins, little stuffed animals as favors...should be easy enough.
I think we're going to do a fish fry after church with the family we normally have supper with (so just the aunts and uncles from my mom's side and my granny) and DH's immediate family because his mom has declares WW3 against all of her siblings.
So that cuts the list down to 30 instead of 85.
We'll do fish, burgers and dogs, Mac salad, fruit, and a salad, then cake and ice cream.
I think I'll do a fish theme but not go crazy with it. Just like goldfish crackers on the table and some fishing stuff for decor.
DS' birthday is in 19 days. Do I have a theme or big plan? Sadly not. I'm not very good at parties. I want to blame it on the newborn, but let's be real, I've always been disorganized lol.
I think we will make him brownies/some kind of treat and stick a candle in it and sing. I doubt we will invite anyone over. Because I don't want to help clean.
