Last night was ok. Alex was awake from 2-3 am otherwise it was the usual feeding schedule. And I tried the pacifiers. He hated it. Why do my kids refuse the paci's?
My sister is bringing lunch today. Oh, and last night I finally went and got new frames. I can see again! Which is good. The other night I saw my aunt holding who I thought was her new grandbaby and it turned out to be a doll. Ha.
Also, fyi, I have sunglasses with my prescription so that's how I'd drive now and then during the day.

A samoa donut sounds so amazing.
Not much going on today. My FIL is coming over to visit the babies. MH is laying on the couch making sure it doesn't run away. I will be so happy when he's done with night shift on Friday.
Oh, and I made plans to meet a friend at the gym on Sunday.

I have real jeans on right now, but they have a weird elastic waistband so I'm not sure this counts as being in real jeans. But they aren't maternity, so there's that.

@kc295905 how's N this morning? Alex yelled twice last night. Not a cry but a yell. Both times I was holding him and he was sleeping so it scared the crap out of me. requiressnacks a girls gym day sounds like fun! Do you do a class together? I bought a pass for 10 zumba classes last year before getting pregnant. I have maybe 5 left. I wonder if they expire.
This baby. Usually such a good sleeper. We tried to swaddle her but she got overheated. Like a big dummy, I stayed up reading until 11:30. Before I could fall asleep, she woke up hungry, so I fed her at midnight. She then refused to sleep for 2.5-3 hours (I think gas?), before finally falling asleep. Up again to eat at 4. And 6. And 8:30. Now she's totally passed out. And my husband slept through all of it.

We don't. My friend is a marathon runner so I usually walk on the treadmill while she jogs. Luckily she doesn't mind hanging out with me in my current physical condition. HAha
Yesterday we had our 2-week appointment. She's in the 90th percentile for almost everything. I like the pediatrician we chose, she spoke to us like adults which I appreciate- we chose her off of generic descriptions on the practice's website.
We got the go ahead to let dd go 5 hours at night and of course she woke up every 2 hours. Then she woke up this morning and promptly fell asleep in the boppy on my lap. I'm hoping she'll wake up soon, my boobs are super full.
Haven't managed to capture in a photo yet, but we're getting real smiles over here! So much fun and so heart melting!
Definitely a good pick-me-up since I'm still fighting off this mastitis - the doctor switched me to a new antibiotic yesterday, so hopefully this will help wipe out the last of the infection.
DH did night baby duty. Has anyone seen the movie Change Up? The daddy changing diaper scene - it apparently happened to DH this morning. I laughed so hard I was crying!
It's 30 - some degrees here today and since DH is off we are going to venture to Target. Me and the boys need to get out of the house! We're going to our lake place to spend the weekend and invited one of our friends to go to so that should be fun. I have yet to have any sort of adult beverage since having the twinkies so am super excited to have some wine and/or vodka.
Can I AW a little? I haven't worn regular jeans yet because they're TOO BIG! Even the ones I held onto that were too small for me are too big. At my 2 week PP appointment I was 32 lbs lighter then the day I had my 1st beta for this pregnancy. At my appointment last week I had not gained a single pound, which was a miracle considering all the sweets and carbs I had been eating.

Of course he did! It's their superpower.
I know. He said, "I can sleep through anything. I was an RA in college." To which I responded, "SO WAS I." But I hear every noise she makes.
I braved the park. As soon as I got the boys all ready and in the stroller it started to sprinkle. Thankfully it blew over quickly so we just hung out in the garage for a bit. Apparently I'm the only crazy mom though, bc we had the whole park to ourselves! M wasn't too bad about leaving either, yay! I feel like I deserve an adult lunch beverage. Also had my first NIP experience with N, if that counts since no one was there. My phone just autocorrected no one to "boobs" 😂
I was wondering if I'd be brave enough to have my first NIP ever on the plane this weekend.... but then I remembered we'll have two lap children so we'll have to sit in different rows... I'm so not doing that with some stranger sitting on top of me (maybe it'll be an empty flight with a row to myself??) and the stupid nipple shield. Ugh! Why, baby, why??

I'm scared we'll never NIP. She likes to pop off the boob fairly frequently requiring me to help her relative, scream while being burped, etc. I think it will just be loud and messy. Maybe at a park or something, but I can't see it around a lot of people yet. Fingers crossed it gets better.

Oh damn. Why do you have to sit in two different rows with lap children?
Oxygen mask allocation. Plus, I couldn't imagine 5 of us in one row. Wouldn't be able to fit two tray tables down for DS1 and 2 to have their pretzels and drinks. 😉

I did not know this was a rule!
My sister is getting married in Mexico in 2018 and we will have 1.5 yr olds. I can't imagine flying with toddlers on our laps. Shall be interesting.
crimpgirl, her head is 95th percentile, the doc was like "well no wonder she got stuck!" She doesn't look like she's that big of a baby to me, but I haven't had any other real life babies to compare her to.

We've flown with two of all different ages from 0-4 lots of times. The longest flight being to FL. We've only had one terrible flight where DS was exhausted and would not nap. We've made sure to avoid nap time for this trip. This will be the first with 3.

I'm trying to convince MH to go to FL in April (his parents have a place).

+1 for another big-headed baby. But she looks normal to me! 😆
Hi everyone - I'm tired today, I think I didn't do enough yesterday since dd napped so good during the day and we just lounged around, which meant I was wide awake for hours last night while everyone else was sleeping. I went for about a mile walk to help me sleep later and I'm totally embarrassed about how shaky my legs are!! lol. About two months of no exercise....
Oh and our basement flooded so dh has been dealing with that all day. We had our chimney fixed months ago and it resolved the problem, until yesterday 😒
