So I know we have a mix of FTM and S+TMs and as week SAHM and working so the answers will probably vary across that greatly, but what classes/activities do you do with your LO if any?
We do swim class once a week. It's really fun and she always naps FOREVER after! Today she "jumped" in by herself! So cute! She sat in the teachers arms facing out and I called her over and she "jumped" in (dunking herself) and "swam" to me. Then we did it from sitting on the ledge too. She loves the class!
We go to a baby play group that's free 2 times a week.
Other than that we usually go to this climbing gym maybe every other week and try to do meet ups and play dates. I try and do one activity every weekday, or at least no more than one day off. It keeps us both from going crazy!

I signed both kids up for a Musical Movement class that happens once a week starting in Feb. I want to get DS into a Spanish playgroup too, but not sure how that will work with V. I would love to put the kids into gymnastics (tumbling), but will have to wait until V is older :/

I totally forgot about swim lessons! We tried to put DS in one but they were all during naptime (who scheduled that time??). I might see if they offer any younger classes earlier and start V in one soon...

I'm having a hard time with this because of the morning nap being the time when every activity is scheduled! We take a music class every week that both of my kids love. Other than that the little guy gets left home a lot napping while I take his big sister out. I'm losing my babysitter though so I think we'll be pretty cooped up for the rest of winter.
We take swim through a local woman, she is super flexible and it's not expensive either. She won't let more than 3 babies in a class, ours is just us and one other LO. She is fantastic and super super flexible, ours is in between the naps so it's perfect!
I have noticed a lot of things are at like 9:30 and I'm just like isn't that everyone's nap time?! Library baby time is then so we only ever go if our day is all messed up.
Is this where I admit that I let daycare take care of the activities for me? He goes to music at library, gymnastics, and whatever field trips planned. My days off are spent at home and running errands. I'll have to do more this summer. Swim would be fun.

It's hard because everything is during nap time. We did swimming lessons in the fall, I had to move nap to do that one. We've done baby Yoga, infant massage and mother goose. Now I just take her to our Early Years Centre which is a free drop in place. I usually go when it's pretty quiet, but it gives her room to roam, and new toys to play with. They do a ton of classes there... But again, during nap time.

My city has a tot lot playgroup for 18 months- kindergarten. I do that with the boys, but A is in the carrier or the stroller for it. She just started crawling over the Christmas break and still isn't standing yet so I can't really put her down there. On the days I don't have to work and can just drop the boys off, she naps and then gets some one on one time with me just at home. I just learned about a MOMS group breakfast thing once a week where there's cheap child care and they bring in speakers every week, but I want more details before I go. I have to find the woman I heard about it from and get info. We go to the library every other week, but not during story time. Our story time is super crowded and kind of lame. We have more fun just playing on quiet days there.
We did swim class last summer and we will again this year. It doesn't start till June. Can't do much during the week because of work. I want to go to Gymboree/baby gym near me just need to schedule it. There are no babies his age with the exception of two friends. One lives and hour away and the other works full time too, so conflicting so conflicting schedules.

I fail at this. As a FTM, I did all the things with DS1. Not so much with K... We've had a few get togethers with other moms and babies when we lived in GA. We've been in limbo for a month with the move and I don't see anything changing for the next month or 2 when we're more settled. So far since we've been in Hawaii we've put her in the pool and ocean water, but she screams bloody murder. It's pretty cold. She eventually warms up to it though and likes sitting in her baby float tube.

Every mom with more than one I know says this... I don't think it's a fail... older kids need activities where as for babies it's just a thing to do... I think they would get enough from having big siblings around, etc. it's more to get out of the house, socialize LO a bit and meet other moms.
Also daycare does take care of most of that list and I def understand wanting family chill time, so I also don't think it's a fail to count daycare as an activity.
I would just lose my mind if we stayed home all day and never saw anyone else so we try and do as many activities as possible.

I know I don't belong in this thread (SAHM envy), but the fact that Hawaii's water is cold blows my mind. Is it because it's winter? I just assumed it was a warm tropical environment all year long.

Are you an East Coast person? The pacific is much colder than the Atlantic. We went to our honeymoon in Hawaii it was September. The water was like warm enough to swim in but I was so surprised it wasn't like Jamaica warm. It didn't feel any warmer and maybe even a little cooler than the Jersey shore at that time of year! I couldn't believe it!

I'm from new england and grew up going to the cape every weekend in the summer. The water there is ice fucking cold.

I have no idea. It was surprising to me it was this cold. H thinks 70 degrees, but that's too cold to swim in for my liking. You get used to it after awhile, I guess. The baby was not a fan! I'm assuming it gets warmer in the summer but I have no clue.

It does. I don't remember ever being cold in the ocean while there over the summer.
