I think it will be straight up vegging out for me today. I've been cleaning all week, I'm tired. I did get a decent nights sleep last night. Ryan woke up only once at 3 and then up at 6:45 so that was pretty awesome. I'm currently pumping, once that's done probably a shower. I really am boring today, and not motivated

I'm boring today as well. Just a regular day at home with the kids. Hoping to get outside for a walk. I'm giving away more breastmilk today. I'm not sure how much yet, I need to go out to the freezer and do some math. It makes me sad, but this mama is in a tough spot and needs it really bad, and DD is so close to her birthday so I know it's the right thing to do. I'll make sure to keep enough to get to the 1 year mark anyway, which is only 3 weeks away. Crazy.
Today is my last day at work!!!! My friends decorated my cube, and now I am waiting for 11 when I give all my stuff back and GO HOME!!! Then off to Meijer for grocery shopping and a new straw sippy cup since my husband disassembled ours and then lost one of the parts, then vegging!

Hey! My patience seems to have disappeared sometime during the night. I have yelled at H about so many things already. It's almost naptime, hallelujah! I think I'm going to mop my kitchen while the kids nap. This afternoon we may make a trip to target for a few things.
We took C to his follow up dr visit today, all clear. He's put on almost a pound again, which is good because he had lost 2. I also weighed Lucy, fully dressed and all, just to get an idea. So fully dressed (with wet diaper) and 3 weeks from a year, she weighs over a pound less than C did naked at 6 months. My kids are so different. She isn't actually small, but he was a giant.

They're all so different! A friend of mine had her little girl 5 days before I had Ryan. She's 16 pounds, he's over 22 now. We love trading babies. (I love it more, she weighs nothing in my arms!) different body types start so early!

I weighed myself and then again with DD the other day and 17.5 lbs was the difference. I need to look at DS's calendar and see what he was at his 1 year appt.
My patience must have left too, or DS is just being an a-hole. He's been driving me nuts today. We did get out for a walk though, so that was nice. Just laid both down for a nap, hopefully he falls asleep today.

How much does she weigh?
19lbs 9oz, fully clothed. C weighed 20lbs 11oz at his 6mo. His weight gain slowed once he was mobile, because he only weighed 23lbs 11oz at a year (94th to 83rd percentiles). I didn't get her height today but there is also a significant difference there. A couple inches at least. She's my little munchkin.

My kids are the opposite. S was 22lbs at her 9m appt, and H was that weight at her 12m appt. it's crazy to me because H was more than a pound bigger at birth.

Mine are all so physically different, with different proportions and growth patterns. DD1 was so tiny she weighed at 16 months what these two did at 9 and she was the heaviest at birth!

I decided to lay down at 2 because Ryan normally wakes up around 2:30. Figures id get a cat nap. I woke up at 3 and he's still out. Yay!!! This baby is tired from not napping at daycare this week!

Yesterday I took the kids over to my mom's to play in the backyard and introduce DD1 to skiing. I was so excited to share the sport with her after acquiring a strap on pair that would fit her. I have been neglecting my skis the last few years and they had been stored in their bag in the rafters if my mom's workshop/shed. I eagerly pulled them out yesterday only to discover that a critter had chewed through the zipper and it had become one giant animal nest. Even my bindings were caked in urine and all rusted. I'm so sad, they were a really nice set of skis that my Dad bought me when I stopped growing and wanted a quality set I could have forever. I also feel so guilty, that I should try and salvage anything I can but that would mean finding time to spend hours outside intensively cleaning, disinfecting and disassembling just to see if there's anything worth saving. The situation just sucks.
Add me to the no patience club. DD has been whiny about everything all day. Like kid, it was you who woke the whole house up at 2:30am, and continued to get out of bed for almost an hour and a half afterwards.
I was luckily able to have a nap earlier but DD still woke up cranky. So now that H is home, I'll be going out on my own for a bit to pick up a few things from the store.
I'm sorry eyelashedviper, could you take them to a ski shop and have someone their clean them up/get them usable?
We have no set plans for tomorrow so maybe I'll go over with some gloves and get a better look at what I'm dealing with when I can leave the kids with DH. I would want to get them wiped down with bleach before handing them over to a shop! Then I can get a pricing estimate on new bindings, straps etc. All of that assuming there was no chewing etc. done to the hard equipment. I'm a little skeeved out just thinking about it going back into that bag. I really hope there's no carcasses or anything too nasty in there. *shudder*

Ugh, sometimes by the end of the week I feel like DD1 and I need a break from each other. She declared today that she likes her bum burning (as per our discussions over sitting in her own urine), she didn't want her toes kissing (she wore her boots on the wrong feet all day) and she chose to go to the car with her zipper open over having me help guide her through it (she just wanted me to do it for her). I put her in her car seat and she complained she was cold. My response: You know what helps keep you warm? Doing up your jacket. I know it's snarky but some days I've just had enough.
