Hi all-- keep meaning to jump back in, you guys have been moving much faster and having a hard time keeping up with the new names-- but here goes nothing! We have a glorious weekend of nothing planned except a birthday party this afternoon. Dh brought me home coffee so he's winning today. Also been occupying Emma while Lexi and I napped on the couch. Keep safe everyone who is marching!

I don't usually like to vent about my H. Honestly, he is normally very helpful around the house. I am still sick.. Like dizzy, coughing my face off, blowing my nose every 4 mins sick. I usually coach bowling on Saturday mornings but skipped today because I'd be useless. I have walked the dogs, done 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the entire main level of my house, lysoled all the things because my IL's are coming today, and entertained/kept an eye on A as she tore through the house. He has sat on his computer the entire time. I HATE this default parenting shit. Just because I am physically here doesn't mean you get a free pass dude!! He made a comment at one point that he is surprised I'm not laying down and resting.. Uhhhh ok.. Maybe I should do that and we'll see what the state of this house is in an hour.
taketheshot, it's a struggle here too. I just have to remember to ask for help. H takes care of everything house related and some kid things, but he does need reminding at times. Just speak up.
I'm sorry you're still sick taketheshot. Similar to @betweenthelines I note just ask/tell when I need help. It has reduced my stress level a lot. I still find myself getting frustrated at times that I have to, but asking and getting help is much better than doing it ask myself because of what I think he should know to do.
You really need to take it easy, I'm worried you're going to make yourself sicker but not giving your body a chance to heal. Don't forget to take care of you!
taketheshot have you been to the doctor yet? I feel like you've been sick forever. I hope you feel better soon mama and like the other ladies said, ask for help, I'm sure your H will step up.

I want to go to the March today, but it's almost 9 and it starts at 10- H and DD1 are still sleeping. /sigh I wish I were brave enough to take Allison on my own.

Yeah, I should have known my city would have one but looked at 8 and it was at 10. Plus We are sick..
The weather is beautiful here today. Mid to high 60's with sun. We've been playing outside. Plan for the rest of the day is errands, cleaning, and date night in with DH tonight.
Did our grocery shopping this morning. It was fun to say hi to all the people we saw heading to the march, there is very much a feeling of togetherness around here this morning.
No plans today - H is headed out to play football so A and I will just hang out and have a lazy day.

So what I thought was just fluke vomiting incident is not. Lexi has now puked on me 3 times. Ugh. Poor kiddo is now passed out. I just smell puke. Yuck
I love how my family loves to say we should do a girl's night, but no one else will put any effort into it. I suggested the activity and place, figured out a time that worked for 6 out of 7 people (7th is actually other issues keeping her from coming), made and paid for our reservation, and even sent someone the address (almost told her the address was Google). I know closer to I will also be the one who organizes the food and drinks. I'm kind if tempted to just bring wine and snacks for myself.
