I need some help. H and I didn't take a honeymoon when we got married last August, and we were planning on going to Europe in April/May. But now that we are looking into it, it's going to cost at least about 5k for the trip. There are so many other things we could do with 5K (e.g. house renos) that it's tempting to cancel. But then again, we'll probably never get to do something like this again and don't want to miss out. Help! WWGKUD?
I'd go. But traveling is really important to me and H so it would be a no-brainer for us. Have you thought about doing Eastern Europe to save on cost? For example a hotel in Prague is half the cost of a hotel in Paris. Or Airbnb. I have only good experiences with them.
I like today's love tit theme. I actually did put on real pants today. Which is not something I often do on days I work from home...especially Mondays.
ohinvrtedworld I got my strapless on there and it's awesome! Have you ever checked out Nordstrom Rack? Online and in person I can get awesome bras that actually fit (no thanks, VS) in a wide variety for $10-20 or less! I highly recommend. (FWIW I'm a 32DD and usually get Betsey Johnson)
@metalmoliver I'm glad you two talked it out! Fights are no fun.
DH and I are both off today. I have an eye dr appointment and then DH and I are playing golf. It's going to be 72 degrees here today... I know, bust out the pitchforks and run me off the board. But I lived for many years in a frozen tundra so I feel your pain everyone!
It's going to be 75 here today too! I'm pouring one out for my freezing homies.

HAYYYYY that's my bra size, too! And I need to go to Nordstrom Rack. There's one in my metro area, and that would make sense as a good place to get great bras. The one I just bought on Amazon was Wacoal and it was so cheap!

That's the brand I bought, too! And yes, definitely do it! I own way too many bras now because every time I go I end up seeing a cute $7 bra that I obviously need.
I had the flu all weekend so I'm going to Michaels and Target and I am going to try to enjoy this warm weather before work tomorrow. Being stuck in the house for 2 days has made me stir crazy.
I need to write a thank-you card and get a bottle of wine for my neighbor who came around the corner with his super snow blower to help me with my driveway in sub-zero temps. I must have looked like I was really struggling with my own. I'm so grateful he did that for me. Also, I can't feel anything now.

Haha, I just noticed this when you said something. I am at work today and I also put real pants on today, as in actual jeans. I usually wear stretch pants or scrubs so I am feeling extra fancy today.
No off day for me. Probably the only bank near me that doesn't get President's Day off, but I did get to come in 2 hours late because of the weather. Raining + below freezing weather = not good. Ice is already starting to form on the phone and power lines. Praying and hoping we don't lose power.
Also had a very scary moment last night. My hometown, which I live about 5 miles outside of now is very small town. 2500 people at the most. And there was a shooter in our Wal-Mart. It was a hostage situation, 2 police officers were shot, and the shooter was shot and killed. DH was actually on our way to Wal-Mart, if we would have been 5 minutes earlier we would have been inside of there when it was happening.

I just had Jimmy Dean Delights Mac and cheese for lunch and I think it's the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. If I didn't share an office with people I would seriously lick the bowl.

O my gosh that's terrifying! I am so glad you guys weren't there!
I didn't feel good when I left this morning and our kitchen was a disaster and I said screw eating breakfast and I don't care about lunch either. Now I am at work with no food and no way to get food and I am seriously regretting that decision. I hope I can get off early today

THEY JUST SENT US HOME! Hahah North Carolina- just because they are calling for like 1/4 inch of ice doesn't mean you have to shut down like it snowed 6 feet. People are racing to the store to get food because they may not be able to get on the roads for like 4 hours. Oh man- I'm glad I grew up in New England.
ETA- Sorry for this post. I'm an ass. I am so happy they took precautions and everyone is safe.

This reminds me of when I lived in Texas when I was in second grade and they sent us home from school because it started flurrying. My family and I are from Missouri, so we don't get New England-like snow, but we get our fair share, so we were laughing all day about it lol.
