I woke up with period-like cramps this morning. Called my doctor who said to eat and rest for 2 hours. If it's not better, then I have to go to the hospital. I'm definitely worried but hope it's just growing pains. Anyone else have these issues? The cramps are mild and I really don't feel anything now. I might go to the hospital just for peace of mind anyway.

Usually they say to drink water. I hard sharp pains around 15 weeks I think I ended up pulling a muscle (probably while lifting DD) and Dr told me to drink water and rest for a couple hours. Everything ended up being fine
I think I started having BH contractions around 20 weeks? (I never went into labor but had an emergency c at 36+4, so it doesn't mean early anything in and of itself). Which felt like cramps, my whole belly would get hard. There's a lot about my MFM practice that I didn't love, but they were ADAMANT that if I didn't feel right, I should come in. If you feel like something is wrong, then it's their job to check. You are the ONLY person who knows what "normal" feels like, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I would say you are probably fine, but preterm labor is a real risk with multiples, so it is worth taking any unusual symptoms seriously (especially because PTL manifests slightly differently than term labor). During my pregnancy I and my doctor were big proponents of "better safe than sorry" - which resulted in many late-night phone calls and more than one unnecessary hospital monitoring visit, but I preferred that to the possibility of missing something when there was still time to do something about it.
Thanks everyone! I went to the hospital and everything was fine. Babies are doing well and my cervix is long and closed. So happy to have that peace of mind .
