I want to march. desperately. But I'm just not sure my 30 week preggo ass can handle all the walking and the crowds. So this time, I'll stay back and support from afar. One day I'll get back to the matches and protests!

So for today, it's more organizing around here. Going to go through my clothes and DD's clothes and start moving her clothes to her new room. Exciting stuff.
I'm up! I was busy having morning sex and then sleeping in. I have to work like 65 hours next week and I know it's going to be terrible, so I'm determined to enjoy the next two days as much as possible.

Good morning! We slept in a little and then I made blueberry pancakes. We are meeting someone to give my old breastpump to since I just got my new one. We need to go to Home Depot after that. I started painting our laundry room yesterday, but then decided I hated the paint color so I need to pick up some more swatches today.

woohooo! Nesting mode? LOL.
I need to organize my office. I might get into it tonight or tomorrow before my friend comes over. I am asking her to be M's godmother tomorrow so I'm excited for that.
I'm too anxious to make it to the March.. I also don't know how I'll manage to walk that far. I want to bring DS1 and DH if we do go but I'm too paranoid of something happening..
good morning! Compete lazy day today. Got up and made breakfast (strawberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast), took a nap which I could do again right now! Getting ready to meet a lady to buy a bumbo for cheap. Most likely just work on the nursery since it is drippy and rainy today yuck
I marched here in Chicago. It was amazing. 150,000+ people. Estimates were at 50,000, so we weren't allowed to officially "march" but everyone did anyway. I felt like I was getting slightly crampy so I broke off from my group early and sat down for lunch. Feeling fine now; I guess 4 hours on my feet was too much? I feel like I'm not far enough along for that to be an issue? We were mostly standing still.
We attempted to get DS1's 2 year photos done today... he was a reluctant participant, but at least I had a groupon? photos are on May'17 for those interested

I wish I was at the march, but I also had to work today. I was these in spirit though. Seeing all of my friends and family from all over the county's pictures and signs on FB made me cry.
I need to finish packing and what not. I just dropped my dog off at the boarding place. His bill will cost more than the plane tickets 😭

I finally got to take a shower and it was amazing. I could have had one in the hospital on Thursday but I didn't want to delay going home and yesterday we had too much going on.
My mom swept and mopped all the floors while I was lying down *heart eyes emoji*
I finally got home from a baby shower. I felt like I was held hostage. I was there for FIVE HOURS. So many issues: 1. Hosts set it up as a potluck and BYOB. 2. Hosts didn't tell us what to bring until this Monday (6 days out) at which time they said everyone bring a main dish. 3. Hosts tried to force us to buy books as a gift and told us only on Monday. 4. Hosts said mom would arrive 4:15-4:30. It was a surprise party so be there by 4. Mom didn't come until 5:15 because they told her the wrong time. 5. Hosts invited people who didn't even know the parents-to-be. 6. It was like they tried to make a regular party a baby shower. Super loud music, people getting drunk, no structure. 7. They played all the games I hate: Clothespin one, candy bars in diapers, feeding people baby food. 8. They didn't do gifts until almost 9pm. And then the hosts tell the parents they'll get a ton of books because that was the theme. Some people didn't buy books because hello, you just told people to do that 6 days ago. (I actually had bought a book coincidentally.)
It was never set up as a dinner party. I thought it would be like most showers and last a few hours, etc. It dragged on and on because they would do a game, then crank the music and people kept drinking and trying to talk to each other, then attempt to do another game but they couldn't wrangle everyone for 15 minutes...
I now have a headache and while I love my friend who's about to be a mom, that was ridiculous.
So the house we were supposed to be moving into this weekend is not happening (long story short: due to the presidential change *fuck trump*, our down payment is magically $7000 more and we can't swing that).
We looked at a rental house today on my lunch break. The pictures made us both think "Ehhhhh, we'll see"... But it was awesome! The pictures did not do it justice! Just finished all our application stuff. Hoping for good news!
Ugh that's so frustrating I'm so sorry the house is falling through.
