I have an appointment/check up today. It's week 27, which seems random but I wanted it today because I don't have school and I am trying to save all of my sick days for maternity leave.

I also know I have to do my Glucose test this week... I had to stop reading the glucose test thread because I was starting to worry....

I have a check-up this afternoon. I really shouldn't tell you guys when I have appointments because they are getting more and more frequent. This one is a quickie. U/a sample, BP check and they will ask how I'm doing and maybe Doppler the heart just to make sure he's thumping away in there and it's regular. Then I'm on my way. I don't go in until 2 so I've got most of the day to wait.

The first week of March I have a growth u/s and I'm really looking forward to seeing how chubby he's gotten. It was amazing at the last growth u/s.

kudlica, Most people passed though. Are you just doing the 1 hour? It's no biggie. It's stressful while you are there and waiting on results but generally people pass and move on.

I am only doing the one hour. I am just dreading it... I wish I could get out if it somehow...

The only way I know is to have actual diabetes! Or going straight to the 3 hour. That's what I had to do. Just remember, it could be worse!

This is my week of appointments! I just did my 1 hour glucose test for the 2nd time. I had to do it at 20 weeks as well and passed so hopefully I will pass this one. I have a regular OB appointment Wednesday and a ultrasound to check growth on Thursday. Phew!

This morning was a doozey! I started with the GTT. Glad it's done and hope to have results tomorrow.

Then a growth scan to check progress. My fundal height is a little behind and have marginal cord placement. But, baby measured in 48% and fluid level was fine.

Then I had my 28 week check up. The doctor was running an hour behind, ugh! But nothing exciting. I start going every 2 weeks now! Holy cow May is coming like a freight train!

I had my 28 week appointment today with the GD test and my other third tri labs - basically, they check for anemia and GD.

I've taken this stupid test so many freaking times and this is the first time I got a ROOM TEMP DRINK. Seriously. I asked for a cold one and she said that the fridge got unplugged so that's all they had. It wasn't horrible, but ice cold is way better.

Other than that, not much happening. She's moving and growing on target - 56th% based on my sono two weeks ago which the dr was pleased with. I think girls/boys have their own growth charts in utero, right ?

I just had my 28 week appointment on saturday,all looks good, my fundal height was a cm ahead but baby was all stretched out and breech/diagonal.

And now Im onto every 2 week appointments,I am not looking forward to every 2 weeks already

Had my 3 hr GTT today. Won't get results for 3-5 days.

Today was my 28 week appt and 1 hr GTT. We heard baby's heartbeat first - 148 and then talked to the doctor who said baby's head is down now. The assistant was great for the blood draw, I didn't even feel the prick, so that was a relief. Overall, a good checkup and now wait to hear back (or not) about GTT results.

I'm 29 weeks.

Just finally had my glucose test today. I better have passed because it was a horrible experience. After the first blood draw I passed out in front of the entire packed waiting room and it was a whole commotion. Not fun. Then I had to go get my rhogam shot, which was a butt shot (was not expecting that) and it burned like hell. Sooooo.... not my best pregnancy day! I won't hear back for another couple days if I passed the glucose test, but I freaking better have after all that.

I go Wednesday morning for the one hour glucose test and the anemia test.  Then have to go back Thursday for my Rhogam shot (apparently they have to wait until they get the results from bloodwork on Wednesday?).  Nothing major but I have to take my 4 year old along for the shot and she is already worrying about it.

Had a follow up scan today. I am followed by a MFM because I had an abnormal quad screen. I am 25 weeks 6 days, measuring in the 75th percentile. No pics since the printer was not working since they upgraded the image storage system. But since I work there I will get my pics once it is up and running. Tried to get 3D images but he was snuggling my placenta and was keeping his foot and hands in front of his face.

I was getting bad contractions all weekend (very painful ones), so my doctor wanted to see me yesterday morning. I have a history of preterm labor, so he first checked my cervix which was still long, but it was thinning a bit. Nothing too extreme, though. He then did an ultrasound and could actually see the contractions happening on screen, and measured everything again. As he was doing that, the baby was pushing his head hard on my cervix and causing more pain. He goes “There’s your problem, right there. The pelvic pressure from him pushing and you are also having really strong Braxton Hicks. Since this is your third baby, you may get more of those and they will be much more painful.”

He then decided to show me Eli’s little face again which was now all chubby and cute! He had his hands in his face and was trying to swallow. It made my bad day a bit better.

He then asked me to go home, not return to work, and to relax. I did just that and feel a little better today.

I have been dealing with a ton of stress recently, and I think that may have something to do with the contractions too.

I'm 29 weeks today and went in for a check-up. Babiy's heart beat sounded great at approximately 140 bpm. My belly measurements are right on track. I was told that I gained 8 lbs in two weeks! my appetite has been crazy. Guess I need to cut back on all my sweet cravings. Ugh! May, please hurry up and get here!

I had an appointment yesterday - everything is going well! Had to get my Tdap and now my arm is super sore. My doctor pulled out the portable ultrasound machine and we took a look at the baby. I was so excited to see his cute little chubby face, and his head is down in my pelvis, so that's a good sign. I didn't know we were going to do that, so that was fun. Poor DH had a work meeting and missed the appointment.

Yes. 

Edited to add, you can request it in the arm but the standard is butt/hip because the muscle is bigger and is said to absorb faster.

I had my 28w appointment this morning and an ultrasound. Everything looks good, which was a relief since I had that low fluid concern a couple months ago. Baby is measuring approx 2lb9oz, right on track. I can't believe I'm on to every other week appointments now. I also have to start meeting some of the other docs in the practice who could be on call.

My only concern is that the LO is transverse so I guess I'm going to look into spinning babies.

I had my 28 week check up Monday, which included the GTT and an ultrasound to check my placenta previa. It's gone! Woohoo!!

Well I finally had my 28 week check up today. I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow so a little late. Had the drink-actually wasn't that bad. Downed it pretty fast. Got to hear the little heartbeat at about 136. Has slowed way down since we first began this whole adventure. I am down 4lbs since my last appointment 5 weeks ago. I feel like I eat all the time so I don't really know what's going on there. But my OB said he was measuring correctly and now I'm off to every two weeks. Blah. Not sure how I feel about that either.

I had a MFM and OB appointment this week, so I figured I'd wait until I went to both before posting. MFM was Monday and everything was perfect, the doc was extremely happy, so I don't have to go back for another month. Babies measured at a little over 3lbs each. When the tech went to take a picture for us, the little monsters both turned to face my back!

Today, OB appt was quick. I passed my glucose test and gained 3lbs since my last appt (so I've gained a total of 14lbs, which is weird cause I eat all the time). He was also pleased with how everything is progressing. I'm now on bi-weekly appointments.

Found out that I passed my glucose test, got my tdap, and the ob said baby is head down. Feeling good!

@ my 28week appointment just a few days shy of 28weeks. Here to review my glucose tolerance and other labs. Stopped at IHOP for a yummy breakfast. Going shopping afterwards to buy some unnecessary shit. Will be blaming the baby for my extra spending lol. I hope all of your appointments go well this week .

Had my 28w appointment today at 28w3d.
Had bloods taken, bp was fine, urine was fine. Then had the Tdap vaccine and my arm is killing me!
Bubba is doing good, she said that he was measuring on track and his heartbeat is strong so I'm happy.
DH decided to ask her if it was ok that I wasnt having an evening meal anymore. I had to butt in and point out I'm having my main meal at lunchtime otherwise heartburn stops me sleeping. He was apparently worried I'm not eating enough.
MW asked if I had gained at least 7lbs which I obviously laughed at (try 24lbs total). Apparently 7lbs is the uterus and baby the rest is all me.... I went and had waffles to make my fat ass feel better.
