Period came today so I didn't go to the gym because cramps. Also MH goes out of town later today so I won't get to go this week. I plan on taking lots of walks with A though. Hope all the sick babies are feeling better today!

Why am I awake??? We went car shopping yesterday since DH car needs fairly expensive work and it is over 10 years old. DH plans to go to another place the afternoon.
All the sneezing and coughing the kids have done has finally made me sick. I feel like I got hit by a truck...Taking all preemptively that I can to cut it short.
H took today off to take M for his 18 month appointment, so I got to sleep in! I had to roll my eyes at H when he was asking what time he should put M down for a nap. Dude, same as the weekend! I'm going to text him what the doctor will ask ands what I want him to get/take note of from the doctor. I don't get how he can be so oblivious to things sometimes.

In other news, how do I have an 18 month old?!
DS is 18 months tomorrow. So crazy how time flies. We have our 18 mo appointment on Saturday.
We are supposed to have really high winds and rain here today too. Hope that H and the kids get home before it gets too bad, but I don't know what the time line looks like.
I wasn't able to get on much over the weekend, so I'm sure you guys already covered this, but the women's march was fucking amazing. I admit I got a bit teary seeing that more people flooded my city in protest than attended the inauguration. I know we don't all agree politically, and that's okay. But wow, what a powerful statement.
So tired today. I woke up a half hour late, even though I don't remember hitting the snooze button. Luckily, the shitty weather gave me an excuse to do a ponytail instead of styling my hair. Getting ready in 10 minutes, including making breakfast, might be a record for me. All the coffee, please.

No school today for S1 because of a teacher workshop, so I set up a play date with one of my mom friends. Our boys are both 4 and have lots of fun together.
Not much else happening other than that. Because I cleaned my house yesterday I'm look omg forward to being able to relax during naps
W woke up every 30 minutes from almost 11 to 4 30. This morning this was/is me.
As H left I asked him to come home as soon as he could...before he'd left the house. So that's our day. W is still fussy, snotty, and coughing. I've been drinking mass amounts of water to meet his nursing needs but he did eat a pouch this morning and some pedialyte. So thank vl for that. I'm wiped.
joi922 I also heard not a single person was arrested in Washington.
I know there was some vandalism the day before but it makes me really happy that from all reports the actual marches were all peaceful and no arrests happened. Police stations were even thanking the marchers on their fb pages.
ampaints your situation is like Saturday for us. We both went to the pediatrician because I wasn't sure H would know what to ask/tell. It felt so stupid because I'd only had about 3 hours of sleep but being the default parent meant I had to go.
OH! And without any prompting by me, my H brought up maybe going to Atlanta since neither of us has been there. Currently trying to talk him into going for the GTG. I need to get active on that board to see if I can make it work!

It was amazing! An old college friend took us to the top of her office buillding. You could see all the people on the mall, the other major streets, and the monument.
Everyone I ran into was super friendly. People were respective of others, not pushing or shoving. I was in a group and when we moved people helped us stay together. We made sure to thank the police and National Guard when we walked by them them.

Good morning! I have to go through the weekend randoms to catch up. Went down to D.C. Early Saturday morning, rallied and marched and it was amazing, and then drove back up early Sunday. I had put in for a personal day today because I have three to use before Jan 31, and I'm glad I did because it looks like we're going to get hit by a nor'easter. For now, hanging out with Poppy for the day, taking her to a music class, and then hopefully I'll get some time to work on our apartment.
