How far along are you? What is baby's size? Any appointments this week? How are you feeling? Vents/Questions/Concerns: QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself?
How far along are you? 9w1d What is baby's size? A pecan or a jack Any appointments this week? Nope. How are you feeling? So tired of being nauseous and tired. Grateful to still be here but won't even begin to feel confident until after our u/s next week. Vents/Questions/Concerns: nope, just really ready for next week which will finally be my first appointment. QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? I honestly have no idea. I got a new shirt before Christmas, so probably that?

How far along are you? 10 weeks tomorrow.
What is baby's size? About the size of a grape.
Any appointments this week? Going in tomorrow for materniT21 blood work.
How are you feeling? Better this week. Last week was rough on me mentally and emotionally, which is why I wasn't present on here (so sorry!). I was in a bad funk and having a lot of doubts about this baby and be ready for it. I was feeling depressed and overwhelmed. After talking to my hubby and having a few days to reflect and relax, I'm feeling better. Just ready for this tiredness to go away!
Vents/Questions/Concerns: None at the moment. I was able to pick up babies heart beat on my doppler this Saturday night. So awesome, and it also helped me feel better mentally and emotionally.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? When we were in Vegas, we went shopping. I got some clothes, makeup, and shoes. That will be the last shopping trip for a while.

Just had our first appointment and boy was it exciting!
How far along are you? 9 weeks and 5 days
What is baby's size? Two prunes
Any appointments this week? Today - And we just found out we're having twins!
How are you feeling? Overjoyed, a bit overwhelmed, but mostly just extremely fortunate. Oh and nauseous.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: A bit worried about carrying twins. They don't run in either of our families and it wasn't planned, so just trying to get any advice from moms of multiples.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? Maternity clothes from Asos. Looks like I'll be needing them sooner than I thought!

How far along are you? 9w5d
What is baby's size? A jack
Any appointments this week? Nope. I have to wait until the 30th to finally have my 1st appointment.
How are you feeling? Exhausted and nauseous
Vents/Questions/Concerns: I wish I felt more secure. I think it's just PGaL brain, but every time one of my symptoms diminishes in the slightest I worry. And then I remind myself not to worry.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? a new day planner.
Any appointments this week? We had our NT scan last week and all looked good. Baby was flinging her arms up. So cute
How are you feeling? Good. I think I feel a legit bump starting. I told people at work which was fun. I ordered stuff from etsy for our facebook announcement.
How far along are you? 10 weeks tomorrow What is baby's size? Apparently a kumquat Any appointments this week? Had my first this morning- one baby blob measuring right on track! Doing an early glucose test and Panorama on Friday. How are you feeling? Tired. Nauseous. Dr gave me some meds today though so hopefully those work. Vents/Questions/Concerns: Not at the moment. QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? Some Lularoe leggings and a Carly. Maternity wardrobe planning lol.
How far along are you? 9w6d What is baby's size? I keep forgetting to check the app, it changes tomorrow anyway Any appointments this week? nope How are you feeling? sort of better, less sick, more hurting, it's like my pelvis is just giving up this time Vents/Questions/Concerns: I hate being pregnant, can I just have a baby already? I'm so impatient. Of course, both previous babies have gone more than a week late, so I'm really going to be pregnant forever. QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? New maternity pants! Because the old ones are old and because Old Navy is always having some sale or other. I got rockstar side panel, so I can wear them now with a belt, they should last the whole pregnancy, and they'll be there for me PP until I get back into regular jeans.
How far along are you? 10+1 Any appointments this week? Appointment today. Doctor couldn't find heartbeat with the Doppler, so they got me in for an ultrasound because I've been worried. Heartbeat was 182. How are you feeling? My moods been down and I'm cold all the time. Vents/Questions/Concerns: I keep gaining weight. QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? I mostly just buy myself food. I need to get some maternity clothes.
Your baby is really cute bsouls ! How quickly did you get an ultrasound after they were unable to find the heart beat on the Doppler? Today the nurse was trying to prep me on well maybe they won't find the heartbeat your next appointment don't worry. Um no, if there is not a heartbeat heard on my next appointment I'm going to have an epic meltdown at your office, How do I make them give me an ultrasound if that happens ?
When is your next appt? That seems like a weird thing to say
@xamountofwords I started the appointment off telling her that I'm all "doom and gloom." I also told her that I have a lot more anxiety this pregnancy than last one and I've been ending sentences with "if it still has a heartbeat." She asked what would make me feel better and I told her that hearing the heartbeat today, then the NT scan. So, of course she kept trying to reassure me as she was trying to find the heart beat. They were able to get me in 1.5 hours later, but she said she could refer me out today to get one if they couldn't. I don't know if my insurance will cover it, but I don't care.
I don't think this office is particular about ultrasounds. Last pregnancy another doctor asked me if I was doing kick counts at like 28-30 weeks. I was like, "meh, they stress me out and make me worry, so I don't." Then I was like, "but, she seemed to move less this weekend." He ordered one right away. I might try to use that again to get a late ultrasound.

I agree, this sounds weird. In my experience, if something like that happens, they will do an ultrasound. I would demand they do one if they don't offer it at first.

My next appointment is Monday. I will be 11 weeks 5 days they will do a Doppler check and I don't know what else maybe measurements ? I feel like I know how to take care of babies but have no idea what to expect with pregnancy
Are you getting an NT scan? If so, you can have it done now until 13+5 (?) weeks.

I am trying to get the NT scan , working on getting it covered by insurance. My insurance says doctor needs to provide a medical reason to check not just routine that won't be covered. Gotta call back doctor with the info packet the insurance sent me
If you have a choice between NT and NIPT (both not being covereD), I'd choose NIPT. I'm not sure how much more it would cost though

NIPT- most companies have a set OOP cost that they will charge if insurance were to deny coverage. Counsyl, the company my office uses, charges $350 OOP.
You should be able to call the company directly and find out what their standard OOP cost is.

Harmony used to be 175$ max and I would have done it. But now it could be up to 500. But if NT is the same price, and you are choosing one, NIPT is better

How far along are you? 10 weeks today.
What is baby's size? A kumquat. Has anyone ever tried one of these things? Hm.
Any appointments this week? Nope.
How are you feeling? Starting to feel better. Some days I'm completely exhausted, other days I feel okay. Always hungry though! Feeling some round ligament pain. I think my bloat is starting to turn into a little bump. This is my third pregnancy, second baby. I think I read you start showing a little earlier if you've already had a baby? Not really noticing much of a difference though between now and my first.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: Picked up the baby's heartbeat on the doppler, yay! That's always a wave of relief. Hope everyone's doing good!
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? Food! Give me alllllllllllll the food!

How far along are you? 10w2d
What is baby's size? Golden snitch
Any appointments this week? Nope.
How are you feeling? So queasy. It seems a little worse this week. Really tired too. More stretching/cramping on each side and really constipated (sorry tmi) and bloated.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: Not really. Just waiting for my appointment Feb 9th. Target redesigned the belly band they sell, and it's much better than before. Keeping me out of maternity clothes for a little longer.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? Lularoe leggings and shirts. Love them!

Sorry about the constipation. I had it pretty bad a few weeks ago and then my doctor told me Miralax was ok to use and it's been a life saver! I drink it with a little bit of water right before bed. It took a couple days to kick in, but it's been the best remedy so far.
Is there a trick to the bella band? I have an old one from target and a new branded one, and I can't seem to get them to be comfortable for me. They always move around and don't hold my pants up. It's like I'm between being able to use the bella band and buttoning my jeans.

Same here with the Bella band. The one I had last time I got from target and I could never get it to stay up so I just went into maternity jeans. I would be interested to see if it's been re-done how well it works now. I'm also in limbo land with my old pants, I've been using the rubber band trick.

Same, I hate the belly band and likely only have a couple more weeks at most with my regular pants

I'm starting to use the hairband trick more and more. I can get my jeans buttoned, but it gets super uncomfortable after a few hours. I'm hoping to get into my maternity jeans asap! Last go around, I needed them by 13 weeks.
