XP from Pregnancy:
Random question. Should I be worried about blood flow to the fetus at 15 weeks because I keep waking up and realizing I've been laying on my back? If I'm awake and realize I'm doing it, it gets uncomfortable after a bit and I move, but I don't know how often I do it in my sleep.

Don't worry. I hate sleeping on my side. Last pregnancy and now this pregnancy I would always start on my side and end up on my back. NBD.

I actually asked my OB this question. She said you will probably wake up and/or move if your body is in a position that can harm the baby. I wouldn't worry about it.
This cough will be the death of me. And doctors have no clue why it's happening. I noticed today that it gets MUCH worse after I eat dairy. At first I thought it was anything I ate, but I guess fruits and veggies are ok. I thought I was dying after I drank a latte. I think it's the worst coughing fit I've had thus far.
Should I go back to the doctor and request more testing? Should I keep taking the Claritin? Should I just wallow in self pity at the thought of not eating ice cream?
Have you been tested for asthma? I had a nagging chronic cough but never had any real attacks but got on a controller medicine and I've never looked back.

I have been sleeping like a rock in one position and waking up in pain because I haven't moved in hours. My hip/leg was sore all day yesterday because of this. Just trying to say that sleeping while pregnant is hard and also, don't worry about being on your back as others have said.

No. I haven't. Does that cause phlegmy coughs? And does it get worse with eating? My OB thought it was maybe acid reflux before, but it gets better when I lie down so I don't think it's that either.
Sometimes my job makes me question my life...like today I was asked to send out an email about flushing the toilet when you finish. Really?!?!? I work in an office not a preschool. I should not have to tell adults to flush the f'n toilet...NOT MY JOB! Ugh the life of an Office Manager is far from glamorous.
Ugh I hear you.
"So and so is peeing on the floor." WTF do you want me to do about that??? I almost got a bullseye sticker to put in the toilet.
Or: So and so is using the top roll of toilet paper instead of the bottom. Like are we really having this conversation?
Is everyone starting to lotion up their bellies yet? I really must remember to start!
Thanks for the reminder! I need to order some coconut oil! That and vitamin e oil is what I used last time, hoping it would save me from stretch marks. I was totally fooled and thought it had until about 4 weeks before due date! For some reason I scrunched my stomach skin together and realized my belly was riddled with stretch marks - it was just stretched too tight to see them 😂 I was sooooo sad... but oh well. Ds was worth it 😏 nothing would have kept those stretch marks away. I carry so HUGE!!!

Weird!! Temporary pregnancy allergy? I'd be sad...

hmmm... I don't know if phlemy is the term I would use. More like a wet and tight cough. I cough after I eat ice cream though. Weird. My asthma gets worse when I lay down. I would always cough at night.

That could be it! I know people's nasal passages swell when they are pregnant. Maybe this is just a side effect of that!

I used jojoba oil in addition to she butter with my son and found it ultra moisturizing!
I worried about weight gain so much with DS and I'm worrying again when I shouldn't be. It's a hard habit to break. I know I'm gaining weight for a good reason but I also know I could be eating a lot healthier. It's just not an amazing feeling (to me anyway) for my body to go through so many changes and my clothes not fit anymore. It's depressing to me. I will feel better when I get more baby kicks and actually look pregnant, not like I've just been hoarding Girl Scout cookies.

Whew. I just registered at Babies R Us. I'm thoroughly exhausted. I took a friend with me who had a baby recently and I'm SO thankful. She was a huge help. I think I would have collapsed in a ball and cried otherwise.
We ordered 6 boxes and I was just wondering this morning when they'd be coming in. I definitely plan to hit up the cookie booths for extras too, can't have too many thin mints!

Our Girl Guide cookies in Canada are different and they only sell them twice a year but they have these vanilla sandwich cookies sorta but not exactly like a golden Oreo and I could cut someone for some right now!
Last week during my ultrasound the tech mentioned a cyst on my right ovary and asked if it had been causing me any pain. At the time I hadn't noticed anything... the past couple days it's been pretty uncomfortable! Like hurts to stand up straight after sitting for a bit, hurts after I pee from the pressure change in there. Anyone with experience in this? I had one last pregnancy too but it was earlier on and disappeared before it got this uncomfortable. I know they caaannnn twist or get really big. I'm just not sure at what point to be concerned. If it's still bad on Monday I'll probably call the doc for some guidance. Just curious if anyone else had this issue.

I have to get my butt in gear for ds's 4th birthday party. It's in 3 weeks and I don't have much together. I think our menu will be meatballs and spaghetti, Cesar salad, and bread of some kind. I'll so fruit and maybe some chips and dips. The favors will be Mickey shaped rice crispy treats dipped half in pink chocolate. What do you think of that? Good party? Also, it's at noon. All the kids that will be there are pasta and salad lovers.
