Thanks for the checkin, @ketchup. I hope your OB has some good ideas for pain management.
1. How far are you now? 9w1d
2. Symptom check: No real symptoms other than fatigue. I kind of expected this since it was the same last time but I'd still like a little something. I'm currently in the phase where I look like I drink too much beer so I'm looking forward to a little bit of a bump soon!
3. What and when is your next appointment? Tomorrow
4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I want to start telling people soon. I'm sick of making excuses for why I'm not having drinks for things like family dinners and whatnot. Hopefully I can get MH on board to at least tell my sister and BIL who live here and see us on a regular basis.
QOTW: I joined after a day of drinking and watching football. I'm a huge Packers fan so with the drinks, it seemed like a great name.

@ketchup, thanks for the check in. I'm sure you will advocate for what you need and I hope your OB is on board!
mrsrodgersaz, I'm with you.. I had to tell a FEW people initially, it's way too much stress for me to hide it
1. How far are you now? 12w3d
2. Symptom check: feeling good. Tension headaches are becoming a thing though, which is getting annoying.
3. What and when is your next appointment? In a month for AFP4 testing.. I just realized this doesn't come with an u/s and I'm bummed
4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Almost to 2nd tri!! I told people at work today. I told my boss's boss. so AWKWARD. oh well, it's done.
QOTW: Yoshi is a nickname from MH because I'm small. He calls me that way more than my actual name, all the time. Jo is an actual nickname people call me.

Thanks for the check in @ketchup. mrsrodgersaz, we told people pretty early both times. I'm also not afraid of telling if something were to go wrong.
1. 11+3
2. Still so much nausea and now some vomiting and dry heaving. I'm not sure why pregnancy hates me, but it does. Everything has really ramped up in the horrible first tri. symptoms department. I have an appointment on Thursday and I'm going to beg and cry if I have to to get some Zofran. I'm averaging about 10 hours of sleep a night so obviously the exhaustion is still hanging around.
3. Next appointment is Thursday. hopefully the Dr. will be able to find the H on doppler this time around and I wont have to do the wait for an U/S thing again. I've looked a couple times at home and have yet to find it so time will tell.
4. *LC mentioned* I bought Molly a couple of board books about waiting for and having a new baby at home. I plan on using them in our announcement photo, but I haven't figured out how to get a picture of my 18 month old sitting still and holding a book yet.
5. When I was younger my cousin used to call me Nutmeg... Incredibly original.

@ketchup, we told my sister and BIL fairly early last time because I was supposed to help them move and had no other excuse to get out of it. We told our immediate families on Father's Day, so 8-9 weeks and then started telling everyone after the 12 week ultrasound. This time MH wants to wait until 12 weeks to tell anyone.
I'm currently job searching so assuming I find something soon, I'll have the pleasure of telling a brand new boss that I'm KU. That won't be awkward or anything. I understand your feels on telling your boss about #2, I would have felt the same way if I was still at my old job.

@ketchup, Unfortunately things are going down the same way as when I was pregnant with Molly. I was sick the ENTIRE 39 weeks and 4 days. It was the worst. It's the main reason I have now amended my goal of having 3 to being completely one million% done after this one. I could call, but The nurses are always pushing natural remedies and I don't feel like dealing with them. I just want to shake them and be all "The damn ginger doesn't work! Give me all the prescription meds" alas, I shall wait until I'm in office. Only 2.5 more days. I commend you on the addition of the dog. My dog would have absolutely nothing to do with it. Dealing with one moody toddler is enough.
yoshijo28 I had to do my GTT early too because of my BMI and my false GD diagnosis from last time. I failed again, big surprise when I haven't eaten like a human being in 6 weeks. Good luck! eat some protein before you go. I'm not sure it actually helps, but it can't hurt.

1. How far are you now? 13w3d according to the last u/s. New EDD is July 28 which means this is definitley my last first tri check in. Craziness.
2. Symptom check: Vomiting is an every occurrence now. Eating is hard but I'm doing my best. Doc prescribed me Diclegis so I'll try that tonight since the Zofran side effects were worse than the vomiting.
3. What and when is your next appointment? March something
4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Looking forward to seeing you all in the second tri!
QOTW: my original name is from my favorite song by Jefferson Airplane and my current display name is from Love Actually.

1. How far are you now? I am 9w5d 2. Symptom check: I don't have many honestly. My main symptom is extreme exhaustion. I also get headaches at night if I'm up too late. I've had some cramps in my lower abdomen as well this week. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Wednesday I have an IV infusion that is also our 10 week ultrasound. Then I have my first OB appointment next Monday! 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I really need to see this ultrasound. I feel like the lack of symptoms has me super nervous all the time.
mrsrodgersaz, I'm also in the little to no symptom camp which makes me nervous sometimes. Also, we haven't told anyone. I'm afraid too. After our OB appointment we may tell my parents.
@ketchup I've dealt with a torn labrum in my hip for about ten years. I've been putting off surgery for a while - because when surgery was finally presented as a good option we were in the throws of TTC DS and I didn't want to break for that. I've done PT for it three times over the years and it actually did help a ton, even though I REALLY didn't think it would. I would go for 6-8wks at a time and then the benefits seemed to last a good 6 months - as long as I was doing my exercises at home. It is by no means a permanent fix but it did give me some relief for a while. Anyway, I'm really sorry you're dealing with it! It can be SO painful! If you are open to PT the exercises were always pregnancy-friendly, nothing too aggressive.
JustJudy, I hope the new medicine works better than the Zofran did - and without side effects! I'm sorry you're so sick! Congrats on moving on to second tri!
AFM 1. How far are you now? 8wks3dys 2. Symptom check: Had my first episodes of vomiting the last couple of days. Nausea is off & on through the day now and smells are starting to bug me. But, I was grateful to be puking! Its a good problem to have (for now, haha, remind me I said that in a few weeks if I'm still sick!) 3. What and when is your next appointment?: First OB appt in about 2wks.
QOTW: Dashuria means "love" in Albanian. I'm not Albanian but lived there for two years.
1. How far are you now? 13 wks, I think this may be my last check-in!
2. Symptom check: Just tired and some meat aversions. Things have been pretty calm since the SCH
3. What and when is your next appointment? Next Tuesday
4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? We got the results of the NT back, everything is low risk which is great. We opted not to get the gender since last time it was wrong. We are going to wait until 14 weeks to tell family.
Q: Yellow is my favorite color and at the time I signed up for TB my cat was walking on my keyboard so it seemed appropriate.

1. How far are you now? 9w5d 2. Symptom check: nausea, fatigued, insomnia, hungry, hungry, hungry and some cramping 3. What and when is your next appointment? Next appointment is 2/9 with the MFM 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I had my first OB appointment today and she was amazing! She had thoroughly reviewed my chart, was concerned about my random outlier test results when combined with my history, and offered an u/s before I left because she knew that since it was a week since my last one and would be a few weeks before another that I would be worried.
Sorry guys, I've been struggling a lot this week with anxiety so I haven't been posting much but I'm lurking. Quick update, u/s on Monday went well, but was measuring 1 day behind, not sure if that is a big deal, I've been avoiding googling. Other than that baby was moving and heart rate was 170. I graduated the RE and have my first OB appointment tomorrow morning. For some reason, that is making me so anxious!

A day (even a few days) off is not a big deal at all. In fact, I would say it's completely normal. Exact measurements at this stage are hard to get since the baby is still so small so it could even be the way the measurement was taken. Try not to worry! Good luck at your appointment tomorrow!

Thanks so much ladies! OB appointment went well and I loved the new OB. My old OB (who I looooved) retired in the time we were TTC so I was really worried about getting someone new but she was great. We got to see baby again today and it was wriggling around like mad and still had a very strong hb. Still measuring a day behind but my OB reassured me (just as all of you did) that that is completely fine, so I am feeling better, although I know we're not out of the woods yet, by any means. Taking things one day at a time. Thanks again for all the support! As usual, I don't know what I'd do without all of you!

Glad you love the new OB! I loved our old OB back in AZ. We moved over 3 years ago and I've hated the new OB/gyn that I had. I went with a recommendation from my RE and lucked into a great OB - finally.
When is your next appointment and do you have a doppler?
therealbug, my next appointment is in two weeks for the nt scan and unfortunately, no, I don't have a Doppler, but I'm really considering one. Do you have one?

Like @ketchup, I have the sonoline B also. I've been able to pick up the heartbeat since 9w2d.
@ketchup , therealbug when you use your doppler do you find your heartbeat as well? What does it usually read as compared to baby?
When I get my heartbeat it may show an initial reading in the 120s but will drop to 70 generally.
Baby's heartbeat is very distinct. I found youtube videos to be really good for learning the different sounds and just tips in general. I also do better with headphones on at this early stage.
