Lol hpnegirl I'm not looking forward to the period where DD can ask for the movie she wants to watch.
We let him pick. He knows what they are by the DVD/blu ray cases and brings it to us.
If he doesn't ask and we're going to put something on, we'll ask "do you want to watch X? What about Y?" while holding up the case. We're trying to work on communication so it seems to be helpful. He *loves* Aladdin, Storks, Home, and the Lorax. We're often just rotating through them, especially since I hid his Thomas dvds lol

I watched Beauty and the Beast with DD tonight for the 847th time tonight. I love that movie but even the best movies lose their luster after kids ask to re-watch over and over again.

Exactly. All these movies are cute. Watching them on repeat all day long for weeks is not.
We're stuck on Zootopia and Nightmare Before Christmas. The latter is totally not age appropriate, but we caved in a moment of weakness and he doesn't appear scared.

Ugh. Crap.
I must've slept wrong last night. I'm hobbling around my house and can barely put any weight on my right foot because something is pinched in my lower back.
