1. Like rosesquared mentioned yesterday, I'm also trying to reinvigorate my political side. Finding ways to make a difference. Friends have expressed the same sentiment. I hope the 10 actions / 100 days campaign ends up being a good resource.
2. I have a few friends on Facebook, one in particular, who post CRAZY attention getting posts supporting Trump and against the Women's March. One saying that she's a 'Nasty Woman' because she's against the march. That it wasn't a reason to march and had a list of reasons to march. One being- the right to pregnancy. Not sure what she means about that one. I never respond (most don't). But still can't believe some of the things she believes.
3. M's sleep has been off for the last few weeks. Some nights it's great then nights like last night, she wakes often- 9:30 (standing and suddenly screaming. We're wondering if she did it in her sleep), then 11:10 then 4:45, 7, and it's 8:30 and she's still sleeping now. I should probably wake her up soon. I don't know if I wrote this last week, but one book we were reading said it's fairly common at this age to experience sleep regression and wake more frequently. There body is developing so much and working on walking. We're hoping that's the case and it's a stage.
4. Salads for lunch have been going strong for me. M's eating is hit or miss. She's still nursing strong. Some meals she will eat a bunch and love it. Other meals she will want nothing or only a strawberry. Our doctor said to focus how she eats throughout the week not just a day. It's hard to imagine weaning with her eating like this. Or maybe that would help.
5. Has anyone tried Golden Milk aka Tumeric Latte? I'm thinking of looking up a recipe.
CET's
6. It's a busy week this week at work, which is actually a nice change even if a bit stressful. I'm still passively (mostly) considering other jobs though as I find them. Any options that actually become real I feel like will just require a massive pro/con list. Where I am has some serious perks, but I feel good and a little empowered to be looking around.
7. On that, does anyone else occasionally apply to jobs that they're not sure they're actually qualified for because they just sound kinda awesome? I say this as I look into one that would let me say (with a little creative license) that my profession is "space lawyer".
8. It's FINALLY not raining! We did need the rain, but this place is just not prepared for it. Flooding, power outages, the works. Now though, we'll just get to enjoy the landscape turning green for once!
9. I'm really proud of us for keeping up with our online projects, more or less. In particular, babyflyerblog.com has been a fun addition, since we're working together on it & have had good feedback so far.
10. I still can't believe M is one. Then again, I can, since she is really seeming more grown up all the time. Walking is definitely happening soon.

1. We got back from our trip to Universal yesterday. L and the kids LOVED the Harry Potter stuff. That stuff was totally worth the price of admission to the parks. We weren't so into the rest of the park.
2. We were completely unpacked within 30m of being home and within 5 hrs I had washed, folded, and put away every item of clothes we'd taken with us. That was 4 loads of laundry.
3. I also did a grocery run.
4. L had to leave for a business trip within 30m of us arriving home. She was home long enough to repack her bag and throw it in her car. She is gone the rest of the week.
5. I applied for a new job (well, I keep my current job, but add additional responsibilities on to it) and have 4 interviews within the next week. One is a town hall meeting with all of my current co-workers. Awkward.
6. Going from 82 with no humidity and a nice breeze to 38 with pouring rain and gusty winds wasn't such a great way to end a vacation.
7. My cordless mouse/keyboard stopped working and my computer is acting up. I think it was enjoying the vacation of not being used.
8. Politics is making me sad, furious, disheartened, enraged, scared....
9. I hope to have the kids in bed early tonight. I am exhausted.
10.I bruised my tailbone 2 - almost 3 weeks ago. It still hurts.

kona, Is yours a tri watch? I got the Garmin Forerunner 235 for my birthday and just used it now for the first time. It's great! Technology has really improved since my last one.

Yes it's a tri watch. Such an upgrade from my old 910. Technology is awesome.
