First haircut I would bring to a children's place.  They are really good about it.  Now I just bring him to my husband's barber.  But the kids' places are just really good about getting them to sit still, etc.

I did S first haircut around 10 months and he did great!

It's been a busy morning for me. I had drop off, a doctor's appointment, and two schools to visit. Doctors appointment went well. Baby has a strong heartbeat and is moving a good bit. I was glad to hear it because I was a little worried that I haven't felt any movement yet. At my last appointment the doctor mentioned it, so I've been waiting for it, but nothing. Glad I can calm my nerves. I go in 3 weeks for the anatomy scan!!! I also talked to him about this cold going around. He said its lasting 2 weeks for most people and it's dreadful the whole time. Since I've had a cough for going on 3 weeks now, he gave me a Z pack. Yay! I hope that does the trick for me. I do think the ACV worked a little though.

On the other hand, both schools we looked at today I give thumbs down. I may be comparing them to the private school we looked at this weekend. It's the ideal program for M, but $$$$. I will probably apply for him to get in, but with a scholarship or financial assistance. I think we make too much to qualify, but it's worth a shot. I really hope we can move to an area with better public schools before M hits Kindergarten.

I tried to make chicken soup for myself and C. He didn't want it. I got down a couple bites. All I can say is that I made it to the sink w the garbage disposal. Thank gawd there were no dishes in it!

I'm sure we're dealing with a milk allergy. A really bad one.

I wasn't really able to get stool samples because, liquid. And mucous.

He hasn't had any diarrhea since we introduced the elemental formula yesterday.

We stopped giving him milk, and he improved immediately.

I have a lock of Col's hair attached to the back cover of his baby book. Chase's is in our 2016 family album as well. I also keep copies of birth announcements and our Christmas cards in the books. I'm not overly sentimental, I just love photo books and being able to keep everything organized in a single place.

Well the onsite doctor prescribed 3 meds plus nebulizer treatments for a throat infection and phlegmy lungs. My initial reaction is that it seems like overkill on meds but I just want him to feel better so I'll go with it.

This. We lost our first grandparent in her mid 70s (after a 7 year battle with Lewy Bodies dementia) and I felt like we were cheated bc she was so young.

So sad about MTM. Loved her in the Dick Van Dyke and MTM shows.

I was thinking the same thing. Both my parents and my inlaws are over 74. My father in law is 80

mwhipple77 , I swear by Afrin. I know you're not a fan of a nasal spray, but it will have you breathing out your nose for 12 hours. It's a wonder drug.

I feel like I've been going non-stop for the last week. I need a day, or two, or a week where I don't have to leave the house or get real clothes on

DH and I have been watching the new show on PBS, Victoria. Anyone else watching? It's really good so far. Now that we have a more structured bedtime routine, it's giving me some time in the evenings to indulge in some adult TV time and I'm loving it.

Hi girls. It's been busy around here. DH is on the west coast for the rest of the week. Took the kids and my 91 year old grandma to dinner. Tomorrow I'm taking my 97 year old grandma. I used to take them together but 3 kids and 2 old ladies became too much.

DS1 has been having a lot of anxiety and developed some kind of eye tic. We been to his pediatrician and we have an appointment with a psychologist Friday. I'm hoping she will be a good fit for him.

Putting the kids to bed now then I'm watching the remake of Beaches. My sisters and I watched that movie hundreds of times as kids.

@surelycantbesrs I have been giving H melatonin off and on over the course of the last month. She is also very willful and takes forever to fall asleep. I give her one pill 30-60mins before bed and she's usually out within 15 minutes. It doesn't necessarily help her stay asleep because she's usually up in the night but at least we don't deal with the fight at the beginning of the night.
