The thought of a dirty shower curtain touching me makes me shiver. In my mind, shower curtains (mainly the liner) is dirtier and harder to clean than a glass door.
Cloth liner + warm wash with bleach + vent fan running after the shower for a bit = never had a mold issue ever.
Glass enclosure = nearly impossible to keep crystal clear. I'm using the squeegee after every shower and using shower stall cleaner regularly and the glass still isn't crystal clear!
Also the corners where the panes of glass meet or where the glass meets tile = potential for germ and mold central
I know I probably get the eye roll because I love Norwex. But their shower cleaner is amazing. I only have to clean my shower door a couple times a year with it. It keeps it sparkling. In between I use a squeegee or a towel to dry it off.
So my UO is that I love a lot of the Norwex cleaning supplies.

I see shawnabm1320 beat me to the curved shower rod. It is a game changer. No touching the liner with your elbow and it feels like your shower is huge.

-glass>shower curtain. Shower curtains mold. Even with my horrible housekeeping abilities I am able to keep my doors clean with some nice squeegee action.
-a million dollars sounds nice, but I'd be dying within a week. There is no amount of money in the world that could make me give up sex.
-I am pretty meh re: Tieks. They are cute, but really NMS. Give me all of the Toms and Chucks.
-I can't drink Mimosas and I have tried really hard to like Bloody Marys. I kind of missed out on my peak brunch years. I don't really regret it. In college, I would usually be too poor or at work. After college, I was definitely too poor and didn't have any girlfriends when I first moved to MD. I do like to eat breakfast food all day, everyday.
-I'm NAF of Bath & Body Works. I've heard they are a good company to work for though.
Best use I saw for Facebook live - public meetings and other political activities. I was able to watch parts of the Board of Ed meeting in my home town while it was happening (there are some contentious shenanigans, but the TL;DR version is, the mayor and school board are having a feud). I really appreciated that it was easy to access.
lovemyirishtwins - girl, you selling Norwex? You have such good things to say about it that I'm tempted to acquire some of this magic glass shower door cleaner. (Pro glass despite soap scum - in our case I think it makes the room feel much larger.)

You know that AMAZING video of the girl choir singing "I Can't Keep Quiet" at the women's march? I listened to the original by MILCK (er whatever her name is) and I very much prefer the choir version. And I'm hoping not to get my feminist card revoked for this one but I don't care for the vagina hats at the protest. Maybe I'm not getting it (are we normalizing vaginas?) but I resent the fact that it gets people talking about hats and not women's equality. It also gives the anti-march people fodder which is a rather weak argument against it but meh. Men only see us as vaginas vs whole people anyway so I PERSONALLY feel like it's counter productive to call more attention to vaginas. Andplusalso I rilly need another brunch with mrsbeachcat, yl and kellyinhb. I once went to Sunday Funday at Fashion Island and woke up Monday at 5:30 am in my car in the parking structure. Oops.

I just do not see a vagina. I thought they were kitty cat ears at first and wondered why everyone was wearing them.

No, you would think right? Direct sales is not really my thing. I do not have the time/desire. My husband's work schedule is all over the place.
I just love some of their products (the window cloth, the bathroom cleaner, laundry detergent, and mop). Mainly because of the difference we saw in my oldest's health when we took most of the chemicals out of our home. He has severe asthma and it has been so much more manageable since we have taken out a lot of chemicals. I really believe a lot of chemical exposure is not good for our little ones.
If you're interested in the shower/bathroom cleaner and do not know someone that sells I could get you in contact with the person I buy from.
Yes, that is the bathroom/shower cleaner that I was referring too. I just didn't use the real name. Have you used it? I need to get more but I love it.

I've used the enzyme cleaner (blue label) and the descaler (pink label). I like them both but the descaler probably works better but the enzyme cleaner lasted longer.

I have never used the enzyme cleaner just the descaler. It worked so well on our shower. I clean the rest of my bathrooms sans the toilet, with my cleaning cloth and my window cloth.
I do not love the oven cleaner if you have tried that. My sister had great success with it. But I felt it left a residue in my oven and a smell that lingered.
I also bought dryer balls from amazon vs Norwex. I got more for less money.

I have not looked at one closely though.
No! The kitty ears beanies are totes adorbs. I'm talking about the actual 2' tall vagina/labia/clit hats that some women wore. I have had conservative jerks on my Facebook newsfeed posting Memes that are photos of these women with the lectures about the double standard in wanting respect blah blah blah

I only saw one that was actually a vagina/whole downstairs hat. I made one of the cat hats, aka "pussy hats" and thought that all the people wearing them was a powerful visual statement. I am fine with wearing a metaphor on my head but would not wear an actual "pussy hat."

I get it. And I hate that it distracts from the cause too, and alienates some people who would otherwise be sympathetic. I'm just not into respectability politics. It continues to put the burden on the oppressed group to conform to the majority culture to get their requests not to be oppressed taken seriously, which makes me angry. They're asking for their constitutional rights. Our constitution specifically protects the rights of minorities against a majority. They may catch more flies with honey but legally they don't need to ask "nicely."
As far as why people chose to march with those images, I think because of the internalized shame many women have of their genitals, and an attempt to reclaim them as nothing to be ashamed of or to hide. Not my style, but I'll defend those whose it is. I think we'd be a lot more powerful if we didn't play into the divisiveness and went big tent on this, instead of having a bunch of women sharing articles about how "I'm not a feminist but..." and "I love the idea of strong women but I'd be so ashamed if my daughter marched like this..." For once, I'd love to see us all focusing on what unites us and working from there.
