I went to Goodwill to start stocking up on some baby clothes. Dumb question: how many articles of clothing does a baby need? And do little babies wear pants?
I preferred sleepers for the first few months - ones with snaps make it a little easier to get at a dirty diaper.
Also, clothes are a really common gift at showers (especially for girls) but also when people make first visits after baby arrives.
oh yes, this. I think I bought 1 newborn outfit, and then I never had to buy anything until she was 6 months because we had so much given to us- it's unreal how much clothing you get from people. Unless you HAVE to have a certain outfit, best to buy the larger sizes for later.
We are not having a shower but I imagine we will get some clothes from people. And maybe some hand-me-downs. I think I might have enough onesies but probably need some more sleepers and pants.

They do... however, we never, and I mean never, used pants with DS unless we were out in public. He still lives in onesies to this day...
He had a lot of clothes so I can't say to how many you *need* but I'd say two outfits a day for however long you need to between laundry plus two for laundry day. Add in whatever pj's you prefer

I'm beginning to think I'm the only person in the world who HATES sleepers... sleep gowns, FTW.
The problem with getting clothes is some people buy what *they* like and not always practical stuff or stuff that's your style. I donated all of the clothes we were gifted if I wasn't able to return them

Sleep gowns do seem like they'd be easy. They didn't have any there today but I have picked up a bunch for my nephew in the past so I'll have to look for them again.
OMG this was the longest week! Add me to the group that would loooove to be having a baby in March! 😉 I keep telling myself it's only 12.5 weeks until my RCS...I can do it!
I'm lying on the couch watching OTH reruns while DH paints and cleans the house. I'll prob fold the laundry that's in the dryer but that's it tonight. I did go grocery shopping after work, so I'm calling today productive.
My tiny toddler monster is exhausting me lately! I think she had her 18 month regression (a little late) this week. We had late, tearful bedtimes, multiple wake-ups at night and super early mornings (4am-ish). But my ILs are coming again this weekend, which means help entertaining her + delicious meals + FIL taking my car for an oil change. Yes, I shamelessly milk their visits...next weekend I have to put up with my own mother, so this weekend is my reward.
