You guys, my in home care provider threw a surprise baby shower for me today. I thought we were having a big parent's meeting for the new year. I walk in the door and instantly saw one of my co-workers. Then I saw my mom and my sister and instantly started bawling! Mom and sis drove down 4 hours and surprised me. And some of my co-workers/friends and other sitter kid mom's. I was completely and utterly surprised. I feel so loved!
Do whatever is comfortable. I've been sleeping in underwear lately because my kid hates being restricted. She gets pissed off when I have my SI belt on or the pregnancy support belt.
I've actually had to cut the sides of my underwear for it to be more comfortable. My best days are maternity underwear days.
I love maternity underwear. I bought a 4 or 5 pack to try out and immediately ordered 2 more packs. Every day is maternity underwear day!!!
We did BBB yesterday and settled on a car seat. So all our big stuff is picked out!
Which did you decide on?
FIL bought our convertible car seat yesterday!
The Chicco NextFit Zip. We looked at the Graco 4Ever and the Diono Radian RXT but they won't fit in our car without the front seat passenger being dangerously close to the airbag.
This lady who works at our BBB ticks me off. She isn't an employee, but must be a brand rep. She asked if we needed help and we told her we wanted to try the 4Ever in our car. She proceeded to give us a lecture on bucket seats and how she hated to see us "lose out on convenience" without even understanding our situation or asking any questions. She did the same thing when we were there looking at strollers.
We've done a ton of research and we don't need a bucket seat as baby won't be in the car that much (H drives it to work so I'll walk baby to child care).
We finally were able to ditch her because she couldn't take it out to our car (because she's not an employee) and the actual employee we spoke with was much nicer and more helpful.

So we adopted our dog at roughly a year old. I added his former owner on Facebook when we brought him home so he would be able to see pictures of him whenever he wanted. Well H tonight was looking at puppy pictures saying "this was Trig as a baby" so I went on his former owners page and brought up actual puppy pics of Trig to show him. I just found a video of my dog pulling his toy away from the guys 1 year old daughter and her falling on her face...super excited for what I'm in for.

Sounds like they were shitty owners.
T is high maintenance. We have put a lot of work into him over the last two years. I don't think anyone ever established alpha with him until me, it's been a constant battle.

He's for sure my dog now.
Taking video and posting it like it's a funny thing, instead of a potentially dangerous behavior that should be corrected makes them shitty to me. I feel for T that they didn't put the right work in. Glad he didn't end up with them.

Maybe I just didn't describe the video correctly. She took his toy and he took it back, she fell while laughing. It was pretty cute.

Ah yeah, that is not what I was envisioning. That video wouldn't make me worried about him with a kid.

We both laughed hysterically thinking it will happen here. We've had him around our friends children and he eats cheerios out of their hands but is very gentle. He was probably 4 months or so in the video.
