OSW I got a breastfriend pillow used and compared to the jolly jumper nippy style one I used with DS it is such a better fit. I can definitely see it being helpful with breastfeeding.
When you say seat protectors you mean for your car? If you do get them make sure you get the Britax brand ones as they are the only ones approved to be used with Britax. I personally don't think they are useful and can hide a bad install so make sure you have a tech look over your install if you use them.
Packnplay is a must have vs nice to have for me. I did find one used though.
Yes the seat protectors are the ones made by britax, just didn't know how necessary they are. I mean H's truck is a lease. My moms and my vehicle are purchased.
Honestly, I think I've had one mess get on my seat in two years. He threw his milk cup and it leaked all over the seat. Crumbs are a big issue but a handheld vacuum solves that pretty easily
We have two humidifiers in the house but I was thinking of getting one with a light for her room. If you don't think we need it, I'll cross it off.
What kind of monitor do you have? We have the angel care ones that light up and use that as a night light.
I'd personally get a night light for the room and get a basic humidifier down the line if you need it. I think we use our humidifier 2-3 weeks out of the entire year as we really only need them with congestion

Okay friends...here are the things I have left to buy on my registry...tell me what I don't need:
Crib Mattress Changing Pad and dresser holder Pack N Play (I have 2 cribs, a rock n play, swing) Humidifier Sound Machine Seat protectors for the car seats Diaper Bag (I have a jujube on my registry - should I get something different) Manual Breast Pump Infant Insert for tula Head and body support for car seat Nipple Cream Breast Milk Storage Bags (recommend a brand) Stroller attachments for infant seat Stroller Accessories (tell me which ones I need) Nursing Cover Breastfriend Pillow Hands free pumping bra (recommendations please) PiyoScissors Boon Grass Medela Steam Bags Wipe Warmer Burp Clothes Infant Tub
I can come back and insert links if you want. Here's my (anecdotal) advice.
The breastfriend pillow was an absolute lifesaver. I really don't think I could have breastfed with out it. The boppy didn't work nearly as well and I ended up selling it.
I wouldn't worry about a manual pump just yet. Actually never mind send me a message on fb about this.
I have an infant bathing seat that I absolutely adore.
I think you might be able to use some "hacks" to make your own pumping bra. But I never bothered.
I'd ditch the wipe warmer and the car seat protectors (but that's a personal prefereance so long as they don't jnterefere with the safety). We own our (older) vehicles so it's not like we are trying to keep them pristine.
DS hates nursing covers, I've had better luck with receiving blankets.
Yes to breast milk storage bags (lashinoh are my fav, but I've heard target brand is good and cheaper)
Yes to nipple cream.
I hate my cheapo backpack style diaper bag. I'm bitter.
Also unless you're planning on traveling a lot I wouldn't worry about a pack n play just yet. We chose to skip the one with the newborn sleeper attachment and it was much cheaper.
Okay friends...here are the things I have left to buy on my registry...tell me what I don't need:
Crib Mattress - Definitely need.
Changing Pad and dresser holder - I'd consider these "needs"
Pack N Play (I have 2 cribs, a rock n play, swing) - Our PNP was used as the "crib" on our first floor. With 2 cribs and a RNP it may not hurt to wait to see if you need it. The one we bought for my in-laws from BRU online showed up in 2 or 3 days if you decide you need one.
Humidifier - We did not buy one, but I hear they're halt helpful when LO gets congested
Sound Machine - We didn't buy one and DS is sleeping in his crib ok without it.
Seat protectors for the car seats - I received and returned. Some car seat manufacturers say not to use so I decided to go without
Diaper bag - I actually don't know what a JuJuBe is. I just have a Fisher Price one and it works fine. I'm not a bag/purse person though so I didn't want anything fancy.
Manual Breast Pump - I think it's really handy to have one. I have the Medela Harmony, but there are a bunch of options out there.
Infant Insert for tula - No help here. I went with an Infantino Mei Tai and a Lillebaby
Head and body support for car seat - We just used the one that came with the car seat. I have chosen to stay away from any "after market" pieces
Nipple Cream - Yes. I like the Earth Mama Angel Baby Nipple Butter
Breast Milk Storage Bags (recommend a brand) - I had been using Medela, but since I was never pumping directly into them I just bought a box of Lansinoh to try. Wouldn't hurt to have a small box on hand at the beginning.
Breast Milk Storage Bags (recommend a brand) - It's recommended to not pump fit
Stroller attachments for infant seat - I really like being able to attach the infant seat right to my stroller
Stroller Accessories (tell me which ones I need) - cup holder! I don't have one and really need to get one.
Nursing Cover - I have one from Udder Covers that I really like. If you have shopped at Motherhood Maternity they probably gave you a gift card to their website. You can get one and pay for shipping only.
Breastfriend Pillow - I have a Boppy and don't really use it as intended. It pretty much just props up the elbow of the arm supporting his head while nursing. I've heard the My Breast Friend pillow is better than Boppy though.
Hands free pumping bra (recommendations please) - I have the Medela one. Works great for me, but I'm sure there are cheaper options that work just as well.
PiyoScissors - No idea what these are. I have clippers but have just been biting his nails off so far.
Boon Grass - I have a regular bottle drying rack, but I know people love these.
Medela Steam Bags - In 5 months, I have yet to use one. Our nursing room does have a sink though.
Wipe Warmer - Never even considered buying one. DS seems fine with room temp wipes.
Burp Clothes - Yes. I only have 4 and while that's often enough for us since DS doesn't spit up much, days he does I wish I had at least a few more.
Infant Tub - My BFF got me the Fisher Price 4-in-1 tub. It's been great so far.

Here's all the things from your list I think you could cut:
Pack N Play (I have 2 cribs, a rock n play, swing- we used ours in our room right away and for travel within a few months of her birth, but since you have a second crib and it doesn't sound like you'll be traveling that soon, I'd pass.
Seat protectors for the car seats- I wish I had one of these now that DD is forward facing but I've noticed no damage to our car seats from either her infant seat or her convertible.
Manual Breast Pump- I breastfed for 13 months and never used one of these, just my electric.
Infant Insert for Tula- I have a standard Tula but I'm probably not going to get the infant insert because I'd prefer to use a wrap or Mei Tai for when baby is tiny, leaning toward the Infantino Mei Tei LadyNymeria, referenced above.
Head and body support for car seat- should come with the seat, don't put anything additional inside.
Breast Milk Storage Bags (recommend a brand)- I used both the Lansinoh and Up & Up (Target) brand ones. I actually preferred the Up & Up because they were thicker. I had minimal issues with the Lansinoh bags, but I did have a couple get holes in them and never had this issue with the Up & Up brand.
Stroller attachments for infant seat- I don't know what this means but my stroller didn't require any
Stroller Accessories (tell me which ones I need- I had none and it was fine. There was a basket I could stash my diaper bag, purse, jacket in and there were cupholders, that was all I needed.
Nursing Cover- I do think this is a somewhat-need but don't buy anything expensive.
Hands free pumping bra (recommendations please)- I didn't have one with my first but I really want to get one this time.
Boon Grass- not a necessity, but nice to have- I didn't have this last time but I think I'll be buying it this time.
Medela Steam Bags- I am not a big germaphobe and never really sanitized beyond the first use.

I don't know if I've mentioned this thing before. But the Graco Soothing System Glider was one of my favorite gifts from our registry with DD. I was very anti "baby crap". I liked that it gave me a swing, bassinet, and bouncer all in one without buying it all separately.
onesweetworld - Echoing someone else up-thread, but if you get an infant insert for your car seat(s), it needs to be the one offered by the car seat manufacturer and approved by them for use with your seat. That's the only way you can be sure it was tested with the seat. Not worth safety issues to get a third-party one. Same for the seat protectors. And make sure you get a good install with the seat protector. Car Seats For the Littles is a fantastic site if you want any car seat safety info.
I am going to be the crazy car seat safety person. I'm cool with that. Car accidents are the number one cause of death of kids under 13. Keep them safe.

My SIL had that one and loved it. I'm leaning toward the Graco Duetsoothe because it can swing both head-to-toe and side-to-side. Also is a bouncer, which is my #1 want for a swing. But looks like it's a slightly larger footprint, so I'm still debating.

I'm so confused. Can someone please explain what the difference is between a RNP and a PNP?
ETA: I see me, lulu783, and @amc25 were all typing the same thing at the same time, lol.
RNP - small, bassinet like item but more cozy and typically on an incline
PNP - play yard with 4 mesh walls, may come with a bassinet level, changing station, cozy napper - anything from super basic, to completely tricked out

Okay, so people are starting to ask for our registries (even though the shower invites won't go out until March/April). Guess I need to get them to the point where I'm happy. Anything egregious I'm missing? Any other brands you preferred (and why)? We are trying to go minimal with the attitude we can always buy more things as needed.
Gear: - Car seat (Chicco NextFit Zip - fits in our car) - Car seat travel cart (for travel) - Arm's Reach Mini Ezee Co-sleeper - Graco Duetsoothe swing (debating on the Graco Glider Elite instead, has a slightly smaller footprint, but I like the idea of both head-to-toe and side-to-side motion) - Stroller (Baby Jogger Vue Lite) - Stroller wind/rain cover (it's Chicago, we'll definitely get rain on the way to daycare) - JJ Cole BundleMe for stroller (again, winter in Chicago, walking to DC) - Jogging stroller (debating not putting this on the registry and getting a used one around the 6-month mark when it's safe to run with baby - thoughts?) - Strap-on high chair (this one) - Infant bath sink insert thing (this one is the one H likes)
Nursing/Feeding: - Boppy (I hear equally good things about Boppy vs. Brestfriend. With Boppy you can prop baby up for tummy time, which I like.) - Boppy cover - Kiinde starter system - A few roll-up bibs for when bigger (these and these) - A couple of these placemats for when baby is bigger
Diapering: - Cloth diapers (have a variety on my registry and will buy more as we figure out what we like) - Cloth wipes (debating on which ones - any fave brands?) - Snappis - Bum brush - Changing pad (the Summer Infant one) - Changing pad covers (2) - Diaper sprayer - Wet bags (Kangacare?) - Pail liners (Planetwise? Recs?)
Other: - Audio-only monitor - Tula - Lillebaby (H's pick) - Shatter-proof mirror to see baby in car seat - Pack of 4 Aden + Anais swaddle blankets - Baby shampoo (want to try this brand) - Baby lotion (want to try this brand) - Nose Frida and filters
I did put some clothes in various sizes from newborn to 12 months on there for things I particularly liked in case anyone wants to just grab something they know I want.

marshian the Grovia wipes always get really good reviews. We had some of the changing pad protectors which sit on top of the cover. I liked those for when DD was real little and we were still getting the hang of changing her dipes.
And I know lots of people use those flower bath things but they kinda freak/gross me out. We used the Puj Flyte Tub
ETA: do you have wet bags & pail liners on the registry ??
ourcrazynavylife - Whoops, forgot the wet bags and pail liners! I need to add them to the registry. I was thinking the Kangacare wet bags to go back and forth to DC and also for going out with baby. (They get good reviews on the CD board here.) Not sure about pail liners. Planetwise?
lulu783 - Yes, we're in the city. Mostly the stroller will be used to get to/from daycare which is 2 blocks away. H and I would prefer to babywear for most situations. I am also going to get a jogging stroller to run with baby, so we'll have that for longer excursions. At least, that's the plan.

marshian we used the kangacare pail liners for the past two years. The seams did start to wear out a bit but are still functional. I ordered replacements on Black Friday. I got a planetwise and a bumgenius (for the print) lol.

marshian, not sure if you already have this stuff at home or what, but I'd add a crib mattress and crib sheets, plus a waterproof mattress liner. If there are any children's books you love and would like for your baby, I'd put those on there, too- I did on mine for DD and got a few of them plus got the completion discount for other ones I wanted to buy.

easilyunamused, I just did Target, but did check on Amazon to make sure they didn't have anything I wanted for cheaper/cheaper with the completion discount.
ThankfulSnail - No crib here. We're going to attempt to keep baby in the cosleeper up to 1 year. It converts into a PNP, essentially. We are moving at the year mark and will decide then what to do about baby's sleeping situation.
I do have some cosleeper sheets bookmarked on Etsy since the Arm's Reach ones are boring.
