He's being ducking ridiculous. Everything hurts. He can't get out of bed.
I needed him to get me a pack of baby wipes after Em's tummy got upset and she had a poosplosion and you would've thought I asked him to run a marathon.
I'm dragging today. Need more café por favor. Took Leo to the library for sensory play. As I expected he touched but did not want to get dirty. Couple of pics from that plus me practicing baby wearing yesterday.

Aaaaand DH woke up feeling sick, now has a 101 fever so I kicked him out of bed to go to urgent care to get tested for the flu. And LO has been super whiney and snotty today and warm to the touch, although our bull shit ear thermometer said he didn't have a fever earlier. Oh, and right before nap, right after lunch, he threw up alllllllllllll over both of us. Now I'm doing laundry, disinfecting the house, hoping I don't get sick, and thinking about what wine I'm going to go get when DH gets home bc THIS WEEK IS TRYING TO KILL ME.
I'm sick as hell. Went down like a pile of bricks on Saturday. Fever, cough, the whole 9. Gotta pull it together by tomorrow for clinical though.
LO has been having a backslide in her speech. So hard to watch. I know that it comes and goes; we went through this with our third. But we all think she's worse than he was and he was pretty damn bad. Keeping hope alive that her tenacity and speech therapy will pull her through. I can tell she has so much to say and her receptive language is off the charts. I know she's frustrated and it breaks my heart.
I know how you feel:( remind me, is she in early intervention/speech already? I can't remember. Leo does the same. Some days and weeks he is a rock star and I can't believe how far he's come and other days it's heartbreaking to see how frustrated he is and how hard communication is. We have his reevaluation february 16.
ourcrazynavylife sorry for the man cold! We just had one of those run through here recently. Now leo and I both have it but of course his cold was worse... right! littlelion you look great and I'm glad leo is liking D.C.! laceysbryan how is DH and LO? Tummy bug is no joke this year if that's what you're dealing with. Hope everyone is feeling ok! raven yay for passing the glucose test! I'm sorry about the speech issues. I can sympathize. Leo is making lots of progress but will still qualify after his reevaluation next week. It's frustrating for everyone! ashlantic omg those sunglasses! He is soooooo cute!
AWing Leo's second bday party! Ended up being a week late (thank you stomach bug) but everything turned out awesome. I was pretty proud of my decor and I think everyone had fun!

Omg sgio7485 it's literally the worst. He's been asleep 95% of the day. His conscious time included watching em for a tiny bit so I could run out for snacks/medicine. When asked what he needed from the store, his response, "morphine".

She's in speech already; we decided to move up to twice a week starting last week (and JUST when my insurance decided not to cover it- so now it's all out of pocket). I know she will come along- my 3rd kiddo struggled for years and now he has the biggest vocabulary of anyone I know! I know she's in there. And developmentally she's otherwise off the charts. So it's all about patience. Hang in there mama. It will come. You will be glad you started early, too. Good luck on the re-Eval!

That's good. The speech is coming for him too. Leo sounds similar to your little lady developmentally. He didn't technically qualify at 18 mos because of His receptive language but they did a clinical override. Now 6 months later it's clear he needs speech.

Major eye rolls here.
Morphine!! Bahahaha. Remind him of that time you birthed his child... and the time you're going to do that again!

Good morning ladies. 30 weeks today. This pregnancy is FLYING by. I kicked DH out the bed to get up with the toddler. He's feeling a bit better. He just came in and called me a faker for not being asleep. And I was like dude you slept 95% of the last 24 hours!! But he just laughed and tried to say I have no sympathy when he's dying. Then he kissed me.
So looks like my less annoying version of my DH is back so I'm pretty excited about that.
Ugh, the morning was stressful. Having an argument with dh before 9 am is not how I wanted to start the day. In a nut shell, he said (& thinks) taking care of both Leo and Alex is easy and he could do it with no problem. Riiiiight. Anyways. We went to see Moana. The theatre was amazing but yeah, Leo wasn't paying attention after 1 hr (too many previews!). He also expected to see some dinosaurs. Lol. We did lunch out but the afternoon has been a mess. Leo has not napped and is pestering Alex. He smacked his little head too. And dh saw and was pissed. Not that easy, is it.
Dh went off to a bar to watch the superbowl. Jerk. He doesn't even like football. But I'm making ribs for dinner, there's wine chilling and left over cake so hope to have a good night. Is 6 pm too early to put Leo down for the night?

I got to go to lunch out with friends while Em napped. Stopped in a cute shop with my girlfriend and picked up some yummy bath soaks. And come home and DH has cleaned the house.

Well DH tested negative for the flu and LO apparently just needed to throw up something nasty and then he was fine. Everyone has been much better today. Whew!
Hello Ladies, I have been LTing but am kind of brain dead on the responses. Adjusting to life with 3 littles has been going pretty well, both of the older ones love B and just love up on him. I plan on typing up a birth story as soon as I can get to a computer, I will post it here if you ladies don't mind since I never really posted on my F17 BMB.
raven booo, hope you can rebook your massage asap! ourcrazynavylife glad your man stepped up today after all his "suffering" yesterday. laceysbryan we have an ear thermometer too and I hate it. Hope what's left of the weekend was relaxing and uneventful! sgio7485 his party turned out so cute!! littlelion I'm sorry your day was so stressful. Enjoy your cake and some you time- you totally deserve it! nemomof2 would love to hear it!
We had a pretty low key weekend here. The new washer is awesome. It even plays a happy little song when it's done. So far I'm pretty pleased. Lo loved watching the Puppy Bowl this afternoon. We let him stay up to watch Lady Gaga (mostly so we didn't miss it while doing bedtime- parents of the year over here.) He was mesmerized. He sat right down and didn't move a muscle until it was over.
Got my facial and massage yesterday. It was wonderful. They got someone to cover the shift, and I've had the masseuse before, but this time he seemed extra creepy. At the end of the massage, he mentions how "a pregnant woman is the most beautiful thing in the world. There's nothing more magical." Now I'm wondering if he has a fetish or something. *shudders*
Went out to dinner. Had a wonderful time. SIL got me a gift card to DSW. She gets me.
DH got me a laptop! I'm so excited! It's nice to have my own computer again. I have a desktop, but it's in storage, and there's no room for it here. It's a custom build (I love being married to a computer geek.) and the tower is huge.
Watched the Super Bowl at home with DH and LO. We had options to go places, but DH leaves tomorrow for business (again) and to spend time with us. *heart melts*
raven glad you got the massage but sorry it was creepy! ourcrazynavylife glad DH has managed to recover mine says the same freaking thing! Wtf! ashlantic also parents of the year- leo totally stayed up through half time! We also had a bunch of people over, the patriots are our team! He went to bed late but oh well. laceysbryan glad the flu was negative and LO seems better! littlelion sorry you are stressed- I hope the ribs and wine were delicious!
