Flooring guys started at 8:00 this morning. Can't wait to get home at 5:00 and see how much they've done. Then we'll know if it's going to take longer than the 5 days they estimated.
But also not looking forward to getting home and moving stuff back into the living/room kitchen and clearing out the next space for them to work on.

I'm starting to outgrow my maternity clothes. But I don't want to buy more at this point. Hoping I can make it 6 more weeks and then I can just live in PJs and DHs clothes until these kids show up.

More importantly....I outgrew my bras like a month ago. But I have no idea what size nursing bras to get and will probably wait until after babies. So 6 more weeks until I can live braless.
Getting out of bed was a major struggle this morning. I just wanted to keep sleeping.
In more exciting news, I placed a big giant order with my completion discount on my Amazon registry. I'm way too excited about it.
Yay! We got our BRU coupon the other day. Whatcha getting from amazon? (I'm nosey)
A new glider! And then the rest is really a bunch of smaller stuff (swaddles, swaddle blankets, crib sheets, white noise machine, black out curtains for nursery).
I'm thinking I need to go out before my due date, I was going to wait until the absolute last minute but I'm starting to get uncomfortable and I know it's going to get worse.

Right now I'm going out at 36.5 weeks. Babies will be induced around 38 if they don't come before then. But I might start working from home at some point because I've been uncomfortable for a few weeks now.
I lie about my EDD and make it a month earlier so I'm not 36w+ waddling through the stores 🙈
That's a good idea! Is there a time limit on the completion discount/coupons? Will they only send it to you at X date?
BRU usually mails it 4-6 weeks before you are due. Amazon gives it 2 months before the EDD.
And it also means I'll get my endless earnings before DS2 is 2ish months old. They say 12 weeks later but I'm pretty sure it was less than 10 when I get the one for DS1. I remember him only being 3-4 weeks old when I went into BRU with the gift card
Any thoughts on Buy Buy Baby vs. Babies R Us for a registry? We're doing Amazon as well (because we have Prime and because if our friends buy us things they would likely do it there), but also want a physical store registry for the people who like to go in person and pick things out as well as H likes to tag things with the scanning gun.
The BRU near us is a combo BRU/TRU, if that makes a difference. We haven't been there yet. The BBB is huge.

We don't have a Buy Buy Baby but the endless earnings from BRU was reason enough for us to do BRU plus amazon. There's not much on my amazon because I want people to use BRU so we'll get cash back. So far we're getting like $150 back which will go anLONG way towards finishing off our registry after our showers are done.

I did all 3 (Amazon, BBB, & BRU). I duplicated a lot of stuff across the three registries and monitor purchasing carefully and delete things off the other registries as they are purchased that way people can compare pricing and buy where they'd like

We have both. Both give a 10% registry completion. BRU gives up to 10% back (the first $300 bought off the registry is only 5%), and will accept BuyBuyBaby coupons. Downside to the endless rewards is you can no longer get the rewards r us points if you buy off your own registry (you still get the registry reward points)... I learned this today, much to my dismay... BRU will amazon price match, btw
BuyBuyBaby has the better selection, IMO, but doesn't go much past the baby stage whereas I can get toddler needed things from BRU. I know buybuybaby will take both their and bed bath & beyond coupons (one per item) and they used to let you stack them with the completion discount.
Also buybuybaby isn't as common as BRU so if you have a lot of people from out of the area, to with BRU

I had BRU and Amazon. I went with BRU because it was closer to my house - BBB is a long drive, and I knew if I ended up wanting to make returns that I'd regret it. Only older relatives wound up using the BRU registry, and I wound up ordering almost everything that was left on the BRU from Amazon because the prices were lower to start, plus 15% off from Amazon and I get 5% cash back on my card for Amazon purchases. If I were doing it over again I'd still have a BRU or BBB registry, though, because for bigger gear they had a much better selection of prints/colors/options than Amazon.
