I feel like we've talked about this here before, but I can't remember. Is it normal to not have gained any weight at 16 weeks? The midwife student I saw today didn't seem concerned, but now I'm afraid I'm starving my kid or something. I feel like I'm constantly eating though.

I would say normal. Your midwife will tell you if they feel concerned. I didn't gain anything until about 18 weeks. Did you lose weight in first tri?

Nope. My weight is the exact same as when they confirmed my pregnancy at 3w6d.

Mine has been the same up through last week (19 weeks). I haven't weighed myself this week, but my 20-week appointment is Friday so we'll see what the "official" scale says. I might be up 1 or 2 pounds, but I fluctuate that much depending on whether I ate more healthy or more crap food that week.
As long as your uterus is growing appropriately (which I'm sure they poked at) and baby is growing, you're fine. From the charts I've seen, the most weight gain is in second tri.

Hi, ladies. All this diaper bag stuff is taking me back in time. There are a lot of benefits to having kids 3 years apart, but feeling like you're "past" a stage and then having to go back is rough. DD isn't potty trained, but all I really need to do for her at this point if we're going out is shove a pull up and a pack of wipes in my purse and I'm set. Anytime she needs more, she has her own backpack now she likes to carry so we can just give her that.
I'm pretty sure our diaper bag is still full of loads of stuff we haven't used in about 2 years. I should probably add cleaning that out and re-stocking it to my pre-baby to do list...

She did measure my uterus and said it was 16 cm, which she said was good. Thanks for your input @marshain mustloveerica! I feel like I constantly have something new to worry about.
akraus2015 - Happy to help keep you calm! Today I was fretting over not feeling movement (or at least not noticing it). Articles and anecdotes about not feeling it until sometimes 24 weeks helped, but it's still on my mind. We all worry!

Normal. Some women won't put on weight until the second half of pregnancy. Also, all pregnancies are different even for the same woman
At my 15w app with DS1, I had barely any weight gain and my OB said that was about when he would expect to see it start to increase. I gained until 36 weeks (38 lbs total) then plateaued until delivery.

I didn't feel movement until 22 weeks. And that's with twins!

Every pregnancy is different. I'm 29 weeks with no weight gain over my starting weight. I did gain 4 pounds between my last two appointments.

With my first I didn't feel movement until 21 weeks.
I haven't felt anything at 16 weeks with this pregnancy...well nothing that probably isn't just gas and wishful thinking lol.
Hi everyone! I'm back from vacay and trying to get back to working mindset...had to get up early for jury duty (was thankfully excused) but it messed up my whole day. Now I just want to nap...for three days.

I need to get this pregnancy brain under control. I lost a credit card for 4 days lol. Turns out I put it in my phone case behind my phone for safe keeping.

I can't believe how uncomfortable I have been the last few days. I know this doesn't go away but I don't know if I can deal with this for potentially 13 more weeks.

It's insane! I want my brain back. Glad you found it!

I heard it never comes back. Super not excited for that.
