So just applied for a new job. The actual likelihood of me getting it are slim to none, but you have to play to win. The only drawback is it's full time (I enjoy working PT and working as much or as little as I want to that week), but it's in the perinatal float. My goal is to get into the NICU at some point, so this is an in.

Good lord i want to strangle my husband. The man cold had entered our house and he's being such a baby. DS is being super fussy tonight and won't go to sleep. Been trying to get him down for over an hour. DH turns to me and says "just put him on the boob". What do you think I've been doing? Of course I've tried feeding and pacifying him! He's not interested . DH replied "don't bitch at me, I'm sick and i have to be up at 4 for work and i can't sleep."
Ooooh mister katrine05, you better watch what you say. I'd be fuming if I were you, hikingmama222. MH is just getting over his month long man cold, thank goddddd. The pity party for one over here that he was part of wore out its welcome weeks ago.

He took a 3 hour nap after work and not 5 minutes before he was complaining that his nose wouldn't stop running... so that's what was really keeping him up.
I went to sleep in the kids room. He came in this morning to kiss us goodbye and i pretended to be asleep.

becole, when I EPed for N, every couple of months I would rotate out old milk and freeze new milk. I think I did it for him when he was 4 or 5 months, and then again around 9 or 10 months. I'm also pumping more over the course of the day than he eats when I'm not with him. I'll probably start some rotating of my stash for G soon, since I'm coming up on the 3 month mark for some of the bags. I also have my milk in a regular freezer, which is another reason I rotate. I'm pretty sure milk stored in a regular freezer is good for 3-6 months.

This is a good idea. I will try do that when it gets warmer out and baby feels better. Right now I'm wanting babe to get the immunity for the germs around and have my immediate milk. It probably won't help a lot but I'm willing to try anything!

I hear you on that. I'm thinking the same thing, which is why I probably won't start rotating until next month at the earliest.
