Where do you live now (see above) and do you like it?
I live in the DC/Balt metro area and I really love living here. It's diverse and I love being close to the water. I wish the cost of living was cheaper, but overall I really enjoy it. 

Where would you live if you could live anywhere? 
Possibly somewhere overseas. Though I'd love to live in New Zealand, probably some part of Europe.

I'm originally European and landed in Canada as a child, I'm in Ontario.

I'm pretty happy with where I live now, I moved around a lot before ended up where I am. I definitely feel pretty grounded here, although, since its -20 today I might be persuaded to move somewhere warmer for a while.

As my SN suggests, I'm in TX (Houston). I like it mostly, its certainly not my first choice of locations, but my job is here and we're making the best of it & trying to do 'big city' stuff while we're here.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?
Anywhere?!? Top three: London, Key West, or Denver. Denver is probably the most realistic on that list!

I live in Ohio. Ick lol. We're currently in below zero temps, not a fan!

My parents and brother live in the D.C. area and I fall more in love with it every time I visit! I also hate being so far away from my family.

Originally from Upstate NY and where I currenlty reside. We have lived all over though, Boston, LA and San Jose. I would prefer to live someplace with a more temperate climate. Cost of living is relatively low here which is why we keep coming back.

Where are you originally from? Middle of Michigan, born & raised. I am about 30 minutes from there now. We live in the same town as my wife's family, so we will not venture far from here (probably ever). In the middle of winter, I feel like I would live anywhere but here. Michigan has beauty like I have not seen elsewhere, and I love having all 4 seasons. So, I probably would still live here no matter what. That being said, I want to be closer to the Great Lakes in the summer!

Where are you originally from? I grew up in Central IL. Went to college in Iowa, and have lived in Boston and NYC as an adult.

Where do you live now (see above) and do you like it? I live near L.A. I love the diversity and the weather! I also love our town/neighborhood and proximity to so many fabulous national/state parks, mountains and ocean.


Where would you live if you could live anywhere? I'd probably split my time. I love New England so I'd probably live in Vermont/Massachusetts for part of the year and when it was cold there, I'd have a second home somewhere warm- probably the Florida keys or the Caribbean. Obviously that's never going to happen but in my wildest dreams I'd do something like that with my Powerball winnings

If I could go anywhere, I'd certainly head for warmer weather. I'm partial to St. Thomas.

I was born outside of Boston, but grew up in the suburbs of Portland. I think of myself as a northwest girl.

I now live along the front range in Colorado.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?
I really like where I am now. I also really like the Pacific Northwest. I think as long as Sweetie is happy (she hated the PNW), and we can afford to buy a house, and we can all find work and it doesn't get below 0 more than 5 times a year,  I'd be happy anywhere.

ETA: I totally didn't finish that last sentence and it was grammatically incorrect and I hated it.  It's better now.

Where are you originally from?

Grew up in Mass. Have lived in DC and Chicago and came back to Mass to get legally married. This was when Mass was the only state that allowed it. My have times changed....

Where do you live now (see above) and do you like it? Still living in Mass. We sold our house which was a mile from Boston to move farther out; where the houses are bigger and the price tags are cheaper. We are about 1 hour from the city now. We've only been in the house 6 months so still getting used to the area.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere? Sonoma, CA. We have been 6 times already. It's our retirement plan.

I was just checking out the houses in Northhampton/Amherst area.  Not sure how far you are from this area but it has so much to offer gay famlies.  My wife would move there in a heartbeat but I'm still holding tight to the Boston area.   We are waiting till our kids are in school before making a decision of where to settle down.

Where do you live now (see above) and do you like it? Toronto. Yes, quite a bit.

Manada's family is about 1.5 hours west of Toronto and mine is still in Chicago, so even though I'd like to live some place warmer, I think I would choose some place that is still within driving distance of both places-- so Toronto, Southwestern Ontario, or possibly a progressive place in Michigan.

Where are you originally from? I consider myself Scottish, but I'm a former (British) Army Brat, so I'm not really from anywhere in particular. I've lived in nine countries in total.
Where do you live now (see above) and do you like it? We live in Stockholm, Sweden, and I love it, though we want to move into the suburbs within the next five years.
Where would you live if you could live anywhere? I really love Stockholm, and all of Sweden really, and I have no desire to leave at all. Though I would consider moving to Germany, Finland or the north of Scotland.

This is pretty much where we are! We lived (rented) in Northampton for years, but when it came time to buy a house we got priced out of Northampton and bought a place about 15-20 minutes away. We love it here!

We live in Southern California now and I think we like parts of it but we also miss and appreciate parts from where we're from.

Yeah, Noho and Amherst are pretty expensive. Try other towns nearby, like Easthampton, Greenfield, Sunderland, South Deerfield, etc. We found those more affordable, but still close to Northampton.

We've got a lot of folks in or near Southwestern Ontario (crazyaunt84, megd893, wittyandwaiting)! Maybe we should have a big gay gathering in Niagara Falls, NY or Niagara Falls, ON some day (depending on the relative strength of the Canadian and U.S. dollars and who has passports and who doesn't).

It would be close for Ohio (jennicole) and upstate NY (kona) and maybe not too bad for Michigan (shemarie82). It would be driveable for Mass ( lilzeezee, karlamo), DC (bmorecharming), Philly ( Kristykristyleelee), and Long Island ( 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk)).

Unfortunately, it would not be particularly convenient for Texas ( RM80), Southern Cal ( mrsnorris, cetcar), Colorado ( esquette) or Sweden ( ionaerebor).

I was born in Kalamazoo...(MI)
I live in a close neighbor now- but, but... I have lived on both coasts before!
So. I dont know where Id go. Id consider going anywhere the weather was better, and friendly for my son to grow up in. My Mom is here, and Ive worked for the state, 16 years- so nowhere for the next 4 thats for sure.

Thats 4 till Ill be eligible for retirement. I hope my Mom last lots longer!!
