Team zutano booties but today I put ds in a pair of kickers (French shoes). I'll poof pic. I may be switching to shoes because it's a fun accessory.
My regular nightly apps are tapatalk and a local real estate app. We've been here for 5 years and i need more space but there's no inventory in this town. We'd make a ton on our house but then we'd have to move further out and we don't want that. Waiting for that perfect house.
It was dh's bday on Wednesday too titania (you knew that already). He spent the night in the ER with one of his athletes so I'm thinking about letting him sleep in Sunday as a treat. And maybe breakfast in bed if I'm feeling really nice. So many husband February birthdays! Happy husband month.
Sorry I'm struggling with responding today and I'm over replying.
I keep an eye out in our neighborhood but more to keep tabs on our equity and the general market. And because I love open houses. We moved two years ago and love our house and dream schools so we aren't moving for a long time. And the SF Bay Area market is crazy so I'm happy to have gotten our very overpriced house and am content. But it's also our second house here (we were in our first starter home for 10 years) and we bought this one with the next 20 years in mind and paid dearly for it. This market is not fun.
I'm nosy and look at listing for houses near us when they are put in the market. But we just bought this house last year so no thoughts in moving any time soon
We finally finished the fort we were building. We just need to stain it but can't yet because of the rain. It's awesome though and I'm so proud of DH making our sketch come to life!

Today we had our first major half-way up the back blowout. in a CD no less. Wow, that girl had some power behind it. Prunes for dinner 2 nights in a row was a bad choice. 😂

Only your first?!? And you have TWO babies?!? That's a miracle.

This made me laugh. It's gotta be the CDs.
Still, pretty impressive you've made it this far x2 without one!

HAH, yes, somehow we've been lucky! I credit the CDs and the thicker formula poop. Usually if poop escapes, it sneaks out a leg, but this one was crazy!!

I think so, too! I felt so FTM about it, too! Like OMG what the hell do I do with THIS? I even sprayed down her clothes with the diaper sprayer, immediately treated and washed them, and the pants still have a tiny shadow stain. Geez Louise.
Prunes are crazy!!! DD had a huge poop explosion last night and I had just given her a pouch with prunes in it, seemed to work pretty quickly!
bgkc4, yay for no tubes! How did they decide she didn't need them? DD is on ear infection #4 so I'm curious if we will get referred to an ENT at some point or if they'll say she's too young.

pbandj714, after 6 months of EBF formula feeding (plus solid foods) have definitely decreased the number of blow-outs in our house too. I guess that's one upside to DS weaning himself before I was ready.
greysonsmom, I need that stain remover. DS discovered a deep passion for blueberries this weekend. His clothes paid the price. Good thing I had him in a navy blue Patriots onesie yesterday.
We bought a large supply of Shout as he seems to explode at least weekly. The first time it happened DS1 said he exploded and it stuck. His teacher told me that last week DH brought him in holding him a foot out in front as he had exploded in the car seat on the way there!

When did you start branching out from purees? I've given LO avocado and bread and he seemed to like it better than the other foods (purees and cereal) that he's gotten so far. Also when did you start eggs and yogurt? Are there rules about this somewhere? I even took a nutrition class but I only remember no rice. I wasn't expecting him to be so anti-solids.

I'm using up the last of my homemade purees, and not making more. He seems to be refusing them and enjoys minced up food better. He still loves cereal. I gave him some bread the other day and he really liked it. Eggs on the other hand, was a fail. He gagged too much and puked.
I think we can start to intro dairy around 9m.
My LO has a really strong gag reflex and does it often when trying solids, even the smooth purees. I don't know if I should be concerned(?)
