Did the Flonase last night and was able to sleep a bit. Woke up with a pounding headache and green/yellow mucus. I think I'll go to the CVS clinic today. This illness is weird. It started out like a sinus infection then turned flu-like, and now back to sinus.
The little woke up screaming at 1 and 5. No fever but seemed uncomfortable or in pain and wouldn't go back to sleep unless I medicated him. Not sure if it's an EI or teething. His fever broke yesterday I thought. He's still sleeping 14 hrs later or else I'd go take his temp.

Dh has his heart set on going to his cousins to watch the Super Bowl. He says that it's a chance for everyone to see the kids and for ds to play with his cousins, which he does absolutely love doing. But it's a 45 minute drive each way and we have church and a bunch of errands to do which would mean a very unrelaxing Sunday. And Dh is traveling for work this week, so it's going to be a looooong week.
Currently debating how hard I should push back on this.

Tell him if he wants he can take the kids and you will stay home and get prepped for the week ahead.

He actually offered that 😊
I think we're going to go because it means no cooking dinner. I'm going to drop them there and go to the mall solo then come back and have dinner with them. It's a nice compromise and gets me alone time and out of the house.

I'm a little jealous of your time zone today. We'll be home putting the kids to bed.
Dh wanted to go downtown/midtown to watch the game. I said I didn't want to go. He talked about going by himself (with friends). I told him to go ahead - but he clearly knows that I am saying no. So we are going to watch as a family at home.
I wish the game started a little later. It is right in the middle of bedtime routine. I will have to miss some. Also, I am so tired and hurt from cleaning and cooking and dealing a toddler toddlering hard.

I didn't think of that. Something to be thankful for 😊
DD1 had an accident at church today and the lady told DH we need to put her back in diapers. And then insisted she must have some issue and she was sure he was lying when he said she didn't have accidents at home. She's been in underwear since August. This is the second time she's had an accident there in six months. Obviously, some big underlying issues going on. Eyeroll.

Dd1 just got put into time out because she pushed Dd2. Dd2 then went and sat down right next to Dd1 on the time out rug. Dd2 then got up, went to the coffee table and got a book and took to over to Dd1 who was still in time out.

I love this.
DD and DS fight each other - physically and verbally and despite their age difference it can get vicious.
But - if one of them gets in trouble, without a doubt, the other will sidle up to their sibling, offer sympathy, cuddle in and basically gang up on me. I can see them evil eye-ing me or whispering together. I want to laugh so loud but pretend to be oblivious.

That makes me angry for you. What a jerk. That lady probably has issues - continence issues.
Ds "watered the flowers" in our downstairs bedroom with his milk sippy cup. I was in the shower getting ready to shower the boys. Ds was in the living room with ds2. We do not have flowers in our bedroom....so basically he sprinkled milk everywhere in the room. It was a huge disaster. Thankfully we have hardwoods.
OH.MY.GOD!!!! What a freaking game. For the last 20 minutes or so, I kept the same position and kept tapping my foot because that's when the Pats began to score. Not gonna lie, I loved seeing the one day Falcon fans and Pats haters crumble on FB.
I put a wee update on the baby Lulu thread about our goings on...
Here is a quick version 😀
She never really woke up from the morphine and was too sleepy to feed so got weaker and more jaundice and didn't have a wet nappy for 2 days.
She lost so much weight she's in prem clothes now. So we had to go to NICU for a review. Her bloods and salt came back borderline so she's home again but we are having to be really careful with feeds and top ups. But I do notice a big improvement on how long she is able to feed for and she can wee again which is reassuring.
Big brother and sister adore her and DH and I have only fallen out once so far.
She hasn't grown even one tiny eyelash yet which is sweet (but unnerving!)

Dd2 just woke up withbatemp of 103. Have her some matron and a sippy of ice water and we are Now cuddling in the declined in the nursery. Dh will now need to deal with the toddler all day, and when I told him that said "I was hoping to sleep more since I'm still sick". So am I, but our kids come first.
I am so exhausted today. I'm sure everyone will think it's from the super bowl. It's not - it's from 2 sick kids. Both are super snotty and on and off feeling hot. I haven't taken their temperatures. I sent them to school. School will call me if they have fevers. I have to be at work. I am doing payroll today and tomorrow I have an accreditation survey. There isn't anyone to take my place because my supervisor is off at a conference and my boss doesn't know how to do this part. My Fitbit says I slept 4 hours. That's exactly what I feel like.
