I've been EP basically since we got home from the hospital. I was producing quite a bit of milk after my milk came in sometimes 4-5 ounces per side. But the last few weeks I will only get an ounce or two per side occasionally 3 on a good pumping. Everyone in my family says they think my milk is drying up. I ran into my MW at the hospital and she was telling me to take the fenugreek vitamins. When I went to wal mart they only had their brand of them and I have been taking them about a week and I don't see any difference in my supply if any of you have any advice or a vitamin that helped your supply I'd really appreciate it. I've googled and googled and I've tried pretty much everything I've found and no luck. I don't want to not be able to feed DS. ?

You could try fenugreek tea also. I increased my supply recently with oatmeal raisin cookies and oatmeal. Try getting some better quality vitamins on Amazon too
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!
When I wanted to increase my supply I would power pump. So I would pump for 20 minutes, and then 10 minutes off 10 minutes on for an hour. I did this once a day for 2 or 3 days every time I needed to increase my supply. But now I have over supply which is a different issue entirely. I also eat oatmeal everyday. Also when you're pumping are you massaging your breasts to get all of the milk out because I find if I massage a lot pushing down towards the nipple and I hit for another let down on my PISA get a lot more milk out.

Is the tea like sweet tea or is it flavored? Also just regular oatmeal? I was looking at the vitamins on Amazon I just have to wait to get my tax refund because my work decided to push my commission payday back two weeks and where I'm not getting hourly I didn't get paid. Sorry I have 12,000 questions lol

I try to massage as best I can. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right. I'll have to ask my wic LC next time i see her! I've considered power pumping I just wasn't sure how effective it was if it would make my nipples even more sore than they already are

I have used an essential oil blend specifically for increasing milk supply. I've only used it a few times after LO cluster feeds in the evening but each time I woke up with soaked sheets. If you're interested I can send you the details on where I got it.

That's ok! Regular oatmeal or flavored. You can add milk and sugar to the tea if you'd like to.

Oh and also, everyone is different so gatorade may work for me, but coconut water works better for you. I've also heard ginger ale/soda is good too! I haven't tried that yet though.

Make sure you are taking enough of the fenugreek. I can't remember the exact number or units, but there was a study that showed no increase in supply until the woman took 3500 whatevers (mg?). The recommendation is 3 capsules, 3 times a day.
I'm not EPing so I don't need a ton of extra milk, but I'm drinking Mother's Milk tea (Target had buy one, get one a few weeks ago) and I have oatmeal every morning.
When I'm ready to start freezing I'm going to add 2 pumps after feedings per day.

That's true! As soon as this snow lets up I'm going to have to go on a shopping trip for all these drinks and try them all haha!

I'm taking three a day currently even though they make me really sick to my stomach. My bottle says I can take up to six so I may try upping the dose.

I don't think I've had oatmeal since I was a kid! lol I'm hoping it will work.

Yes take the maximum amount. If I do that for a day or 2 I become engorged. But like someone saud everyone's bodies will respond differently but it looks like you have a good list of things to try!

It worked for me, I went from barely getting an oz to 2 oz and I woke up quite engorged this morning. But I'm not EP. I only pump once to twice a day. Just enough to get some milk for delivering S' enzyme supplements to him.

My lactation consultant said to not get fenugreek from the Wal-Mart, but from the vitamin Shoppe or gnc instead. She said that it has been found that Wal-Mart was putting sand in their vitamins instead of the vitamin

I wish there was a dislike. This is gross.
I never checked up to see if it was true or not. I'm going to steer clear just in case

I know now I have to decide which order to try them so I know exactly what's working hahah!
