Sooooo, I am like REALLY late with announcing (lolz @ 24-25 weeks) but I just didn't feel comfortable earlier. We obviously told those closest to us earlier on, and people who we regularly see (hard to hide that bump for a while now) etc. But it wasn't until earlier this week that I finally sent word to family&friends further away, and today I posted this photo & text on FB.
Lang gewacht, stil gezwegen Nooit gedacht, toch gekregen Van tijd tot tijd worden dromen werkelijkheid!
So very happy to be able to announce that we're expecting our 2% chance turned 100% miracle rainbow baby come August 2017!

I love that lil blue bowtie addymac! I hope that the responses you got so far were sweet and that if you do decide to announce a little more publicity it will be as fun and nice an experience as mine was. X
I ended up skipping announcing on IG myself - to many fellow loss moms on there that are still struggling and I 'd hate to trigger, plus pretty much all other folks on there already know or have seen the announcement on my blog or on FB.
I didn't announce on social media at all. My family all knows and my close friends. I'm going to a conference with a ton of bloggers in 2 weeks and won't they be shocked when I show up 6.months pregnant!

The not wanting to trigger people is really my big reason for not posting on social media. I know during the waiting period of my first pregnancy (will the baby live or die) and afterwards, pregnancy announcement trigger the shit out of me. Even now, I can't deal with them, it just makes me very sensitive and I don't want to put someone else through that.
The friends I texted were super sweet! Most of them knew I had had a loss so they were pretty excited for us. My extended family didn't know (unless they can deduce from my iG posts), but my aunts went crazy haha
