So L is 2 months yesterday, 9 weeks today! His 2 month appointment is next Wednesday so I looked at the 2- month check in and we are so far behind the first births! I didn't realize we were over a month behind the first babies!
DH is getting truck shocks and other stuff done, I'm about to head out to pick him up and grab lunch. We are sick of leftovers from last weekend! We have dinner tonight with our neighbors with their son who is 3- months older than L. We can't wait till they are playing together!
I'm exhausted today. D has been doing...fine...the past few nights. Not good or great, but not horrible either; just fine. But I think maybe the sudden decrease in consecutive hours of sleep is catching up to me. She seems to cycle this way regularly so I guess I just need to wait and look forward to the next time she comes back around to the 6-8 (or even 10!!) hours at a time part of the cycle.
I need to make some decisions on SuperBowl food. H wants to order stuff from the local pizza/sub shop because that's what he ate 2 years ago when the Pats won. But I can't even think about eating such heavy, unhealthy stuff right now since I've been doing so well with my diet. I saw a recipe for mango sriracha wings that I might try out.

Happy Friday!! C it's napping right now and seems like he'll be out for a while. We'll see. I managed to eat breakfast and get dinner going in the crock pot before noon so I sat down to watch TV for a bit before finishing some stuff around the house.
So H wasn't quite ready to give up on building our dream home so instead we came up with a plan to buy the lot now and save up as much money as possible until next spring. We think we can save up a decent chunk of cash to help with construction so that our mortgage stays manageable. We're still finalizing details but FX this works out. It's kind of a bummer because I was planning to ask my boss about going part time but now we need my full income to pull this off. It will be worth it in the end though.
Hi!!! My mom left today after almost two weeks. I cried like a baby. She was so helpful with the boys, cleaned my house, and kept me sane while stressing over C's surgery. I want to do something nice for her. I'm thinking flowers and maybe a gift card for a massage or one of her favorite craft stores.
C has been doing well. We go back on Tuesday for an ultrasound and to get his stent out (finally!!!). I hate that I can't tell if he is still in pain. I feel like I'm either over or under medicating every day. I know he will still cry but it seriously stresses me out.
We tried to transition to the crib this week but failed miserably. My kid is going to sleep in a RNP until he's five. I'm going to look into one of those magical suits that you guys have been talking about.
Happy Friday! We went to tot time at the trampoline park earlier, but left after only 45 mins. DS was looking tired and was not so into it. Passed out as soon as we got in the car. Still sleeping so I'm enjoying Netflix while L sleeps to. Just need to do some cleaning and MIL is coming over for dinner. Glad to have an easy day after working this week. Sweatpants feel heavenly after having to be dressed up again for work!
So I had a headache on and off for 4 days. Last night I went to bed at 7 pm and woke up 3 times to feed E before getting up for good at 6 with O. I probably got 8 1/2 hours sleep during that time. I haven't had a headache yet today. Apparently I was severely sleep deprived. I might have to permanently change my bedtime to 7pm.
buckyb I'm still swaddling H in the rock n play. I was going to move him to the crib last weekend but he had another choking episode so I chickened out. Let me know how you like the merlin. I'm thinking of getting one this time.
C hates the swaddle so I'm not sure if the Merlin suit will work for us. I suspect that C has some minor reflux because he tends to spit up in the pack in play. It has been worse this past week and a half with having him on an antibiotic. It upsets his stomach and he would spit up and then wake himself up. I'm going to try again after he finishes up his meds.
+1 for still in a swaddle in the RNP. She doesn't really care much for the Merlin unfortunately. She won't sleep in the crib swaddled either. Not for more than like half an hour anyway. I can't really say I've tried very hard to transition her yet though, but I realize my time is running short.
We are all sick over here still. DH took a bunch of Nyquil already and I keep trying to ward off a sore throat with ibuprofen. Yay. Lillian has developed a cough and still is full of snot. Lilah is a bit sniffly, too. And of course my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins I haven't seen in over a year and a half are coming to visit this weekend. Sigh.
Lillian is now fighting bedtime. It's almost 10 and I can hear her screaming. Ugh. At least Lilah is asleep.
