I saw Lady Gaga - really up close and personal - at HRCs midnight rally before the election. She was truly amazing. I'd love to see her in full blown concert mode.
What am I supposed to call DS's teachers? In his old school, the lead teacher went by "miss + first name," but they were all pretty young. His new lead teacher is in her late 50's or early 60's and calling her "miss" just seems weird. I'm probably overthinking this, but it feels like calling my mom by her first name. (I'm in the process of responding to an email from her).
It's normal for daycare teachers of all ages to be called "miss first name". You could call her "Mrs first name" if it makes you more comfortable but your DS doesn't have to. She probably accepts all sorts of name approximations if she's anything like me. . I do have parents call me Mrs Haley but I'm fine with Ms or Miss or just plain Haley. I know I'm not older (well, older than you probably lol) but it's just common daycare talk.

Have you met her in person? I don't know any adults who *I* would call Miss First Name, that's for the kids.
If you've met her, however she was introduced. If you haven't, I'd address it to Ms. Last Name UNLESS she signed it with her first name, then I'd use that.
sharebear05 - there are two retired teachers at our daycare and I refer to them as Miss + first name when talking to DS1 about them. When I talk directly to them, I address by first name.

sharebear05 at ds2 new Montessori school it's Mrs last name for all the teachers. It's our first preschool where that is the case. I asked a stranger mom in the parking lot on the way in on the first day...
In our daycare the teachers just use the first names for both parents and kids but I think when we had that board discussion about whether or not kids should call adults by their last name or mr/ms/miss first name I concluded that Canada is just way more informal.
@feegan I knew I should have tagged ya! I didn't lay on the ground but I did sit on the rocker with each sitting outward on each leg. They weren't feeling the love of sharing. Lol! Luckily I got her to sleep early. W on the other hand wanted to party until 11pm..,
