Thank you! It was fantastic actually. She is spoiled for sure!
How did the seating work out??
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I really don't think anyone there was in the place I was over the last 3 years. We played bingo during the opening of the gifts so that gave people something to do.
@wineandcupcakes I would have to check FF to see the last time I recorded sex... it was a very long time ago either July or august. We did an IUI in October so not sex required for this pregnancy.

H and I had some fun in the shower yesterday. Even when not pregnant shower sex just doesn't work that well...then you add a belly into the mix and yeahhh.

I'm going to treat MH in the shower today, it's the only way it's gonna happen and I'm sick of listening to his whining.

DHs diaper party is today. I had a meltdown over how the guest room has become the baby dumping ground so I spend all day yesterday putting things together, washing and folding and putting away baby stuff. Everything is so organized! I love it. But I'm hurting today. My entire body hurts. And I would kill for a glass of wine (or two or four). And yes it's 10am.

Our guest room and my office is also a giant dumping ground right now. I at least sorted the diapers by size last night.

So we got both car seats yesterday, the infant and the convertible. Do we put the convertible away for a few months and just stick with the infant seat?

BabyStandish I've managed peaceful coffee almost every morning postpartum and it is huge. Just makes me feel more normal and less stressed
Shower sex is always awkward. Not a fan. And on TCF that is tame lol
mustloveerica the same thing happened here and it took me weeks to sort out. Now there's hospital stuff and random baby stuff dumped in there again and I have no energy to fix
We have no plans today. Staying in and watching Super Bowl. I should see if we have any beers I like and put one in the fridge.
Also, if I'm here, assume I have a baby attached to my boob. Lots of tapa time with my phone.
I was about to head to the grocery store before realizing it would probably be packed with people shopping for the super bowl, so much DNW so I'm saving shopping for tomorrow. H leaves for his last business trip before baby comes tomorrow and I'm seriously looking forward to a quiet week!
Yea, I made this mistake yesterday and it was pretty bad.

That's what we're doing for now. When the bucket seat gets too heavy we'll switch to the big convertibles. DH put the buckets in yesterday.

This is what we did as well. We had a base for each car. We switched to the convertibles around 9 months when it was just too heavy to lug. The beauty of having an infant/bucket seat is if they fall asleep, just pop out the seat and continue on...
This is brought to you by the fact that my car is currently in the garage with the car windows open and a passed out toddler (it's attached to our apartment) in his car seat while we have a baby monitor down there to hear him..

juliayadda ok that's what I thought! We're going to get them inspected anyway but I was pretty sure you weren't supposed to do both. He's all freaked out that they don't seem secure enough with just the latch because really nothing holds the front down. But I think that's just the way it is?

If it's tight enough, it shouldn't wiggle. Leave it sit for a day or two so they settle and then pull it tighter. You don't need anything to hold the fronts down. Also, make sure you check the angles. We need to use a pool noodle or towel in my car to get the proper angle
We've tried shower sex when not pregnant and the entire time I was worried one or both of us would fall and crack our skull open. So hard pass on anything more than a shower hand job.
Unfortunately my brain is mush and I did not even consider it being Super Bowl Sunday. We're about to walk to the supermarket because we desperately need food. Oh well.
Last night we saw Arrival in the theater and baby must have liked it because I felt a kick on the outside. Of course it stopped as soon as I put H's hand there to feel.

Yeah we'll check the angles in a parking lot. Both our garage and driveway are sloped.
