We are up nursing, about to change his diaper and give a bottle. I feel bad saying this but R sttn last night, 11:30-6:30. Once again mh stayed up late watching tv so he is exhausted 😑. It's so frustrating, and I know he is going to take a long nap tomorrow.
Oh ashtog, I'm so sorry. I hope you're able to get some rest.
Fwiw I have temporarily given up getting C to sleep on her own. She's sleep on my chest the last 3 nights and it's the most glorious sleep I've had since she was born.
Yay meeggaannww for sttn. Not st all jealous over here.
This is wake up #2 at his usual 4am ish time. He should go back down until 6 ish after this so I'm hoping for another hour or so of sleep before DS1 wakes up. FX.
Another good t hi ng tonight is that his gas pains haven't been so bad tonight (probably why he's slept better). Much less grunting and groaning and no spit ups. I wish I could pinpoint sonething different I ate/did but I can't.
I cannot understand what is happening right now with this sleep thing and I want to stab my hubby who is sleeping soundly. Oh yeah, his alarm will go off in about 3 min. Mine will go off in an hour. 😭
I texted my mil out of desperation to see if she can come let me sleep for a few hours today. She's off and offered last week to help on her days off so I hope she can come

Wide awake baby. H is sleeping away. I honestly have no clue what he did to make W sleep so long last night and it majorly irritates me that I can't mimic it. I'm considering having H find the monitor and then putting W in his and DS1's room from now on. Maybe it's just because he smells me that he wakes up from his periods of minor fussiness.

H woke up for work and asked how I slept. I responded that I slept like shit because W has been up so often and it's been hard to fall asleep again. His response? "You should keeo him up during the day." Right. Because that's working so well for me. He knows that's something I've been doing the last couple days. Maybe he should just suck it up and do some MOTN care.
I was planning on checking in at my 4am wake-up. My boobs were so full, I was hoping for a long feeding. Sadly, my babe would NOT wake-up. I was using both hands to tickle, poke and prod her to wake her up (without success), so I couldn't hold my phone.

judyblume14 that's where I'm at right now. I'm super full and she's being lazy as heck about latching. And she woke up hungry! Come on babies, get with the program.

E spent most of the night grunting. I went to pump and mid pump she started crying. H got up to calm her down during my shift and got all annoyed I pumped before taking care of her. I was annoyed she had been grunting all night how was I supposed to know she would step to cry at that moment. I'm going to. E dealing with a very fussy baby today.
