I actually have it in the other green color. I bought it from one of those Facebook boutiques. You can wear it how you're imagining (white tee and ripped jeans) of you can wear it as a coverup.

I will be in Disney in a few weeks. My Disney fashion is sneakers, crops or jean shorts and simple tanks or tees. It is literally the least fashionable place on earth, so as long as you're comfortable, you're fine.
I just bought DS this hipster tee for summer. I would totally wear this myself but it only goes up to 16 years old and I'm pretty sure that would not fit.

100%. There will be people there dressed in sloppy gym clothes and people looking like they're going to prom. I wore a tee and chino shorts most days. Our mid-week day when I thought I was dying I went for athleisure with Adidas crops and a tank. No one else GAF what you're wearing.
For shoes, I rotated between Chucks (I took out the insoles and added nicer ones with arch support), Asics, and Chacos. The key for me was wearing something different every day so my feet didn't get too worn out in one type of shoe.
Thanks to everyone for the Chucks advice - maybe I'll just wear them to dinners at night or @gotgingy I'll try your insole trick. I had read that multiple pairs of footwear were key and I've developed a new fondness or buying shoes.
I don't like being hot so I'm guessing there will be a lot of tanks in my wardrobe (no one will judge my flabby arms at the happiest place on earth, right?). If I magically lose the 30 lbs that I want to then I'll be buying some more shorts but otherwise feel more comfortable in capris. The ones I wore for the last vacation were Lee active capris or skimmers. Not super fashionable but I think they'd be ok. I liked them because they were lightweight but not tight fitting like leggings.
But if anyone has any plus size shorts or capris recs, please let me know.
Trolling Beyonce is my fave because she could shit on the floor like that Flavor of Love girl and people would WK her. "That floor should be honored Queen Bey shit on it. I wish she would shit on me." - @arielmermaid

I've had great luck with the brand Democracy for plus size shorts at Nordstrom/The Rack. Those are probably my favorite. I also have a few pairs from CityChic (carried at Macys/Norstrom), but I order directly from them online most often. They usually have an extra % off their clearance. The sizing is more like Torrid- 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. But it is really good quality and the sizing is generous. I've been able to go down a size in almost everything.
I am stalking this thread. My youngest is now a toddler and I don't need the same access to boobs, I am also 3 sizes smaller than a year ago. I don't have much of a budget, but I pretty much need everything. Also, my wardrobe is basically black, which DH likes to tease about, so I am trying to diversify

Does anyone have a recommendation for their favorite loose fitting tees and tanks? Everything I buy seems to fall apart after a few washes so I obviously need something better quality. Long enough to cover my ass in stretch pants is a plus.

Actually, I was just on Duluth Trading Co. looking at the tanks and tees. I have a 3/4 sleeve longtail tee that I love because it has good coverage without being obnoxiously long.
I am going to order a few of the short sleeve t-shirts and some of the wicking tanks.

I like the ones from jcrew. They are on the clearance rack often so i stock up when i go to the mall.
Talk to me about spring denim. Feeling a little overwhelmed by the spring trends. I just want a nice, not too long, not too short, not too skinny, not too high waisted, not too baggy pair of work horse jeans (I wear denim to work most days). My favorite pair of jeans is a too big pair of maternity from James Jeans and tried to order those in non maternity, but they've totally changed the design in the 4 years I've had them. I've had bad luck at ON, Gap, Jcrew (and madewell, yikes!), and Loft as well. Where else should I look? I prefer to online shop.

If you like James, my favorite brand is AG. They fit me best - I've tried all of the ones you mentioned (except Madewell) and they are ok but just don't fit me that well.

Thanks! I will look. Fit is my biggest thing. Any styles you'd recommend?
