I live in *poof* so I don't have to travel to see the eclipse! Anyway, H and I were supposed to have a weekend get-away for our anniversary this year because he haven't every really done a big celebratory thing but since I'm pregnant, that will not be happening.
mkrupar - I hope you have so much fun in Ireland! It looks so beautiful there and it's on our list to take a trip there!
versed2 - FX you can make it to your brothers wedding! Is it at least local? That way at least you wouldn't have to worry about going into labor away from home!
scoutradley - Ah, that stinks you won't get to make your trip. I know it's not the same, but you guys could still do a trip, maybe just shorter and more local to you (assuming your anniversary is before your due date!).
AFM, I have a 3 day OOT bachelorette party to attend in May. I was planning to have many drinks on the beach, but now it will be many virgin drinks. I'm sure I'll still have fun, but bachelorette parties are definitely not the same KU! I also have a wedding to attend in July. We are making it a weekend trip and I'm glad that when I rock my swimsuit the next day after eating a lot of yummy wedding food (ok... cake) I can blame the belly on the baby

I think I have the busiest year of my life! I have a cruise planned for April 1st, Going to the Outerbanks in July And also 3 weddings (I'm in two of, one I'll be 38 weeks pregnant, awesome) Edit because I forgot 2 bachelorette parties And I'll be sober for alllll the things ! Lol
smores - the wedding is 90min away. We're already chatting about having grandparents bring car seats and packing extra for the boys in case we have to leave!
& Virgin drinks can be good, too (that's what I'm telling myself).

Wow! That is busy! Yes, as happy as I am to be pregnant, I will have a bit of the sads that I will most definitely be the only sober one at the bachelorette party I'm going to. But at least you and I can be the bachelorette party drivers if necessary! Bonus for them lol

I have a trip to Europe in March, and a wedding in Kansas City, plus a trip to the beach. None of those should be impacted. My cousin is getting married the weekend of my EDD, so I guess I'll be missing that for sure because it is OOT.

90 minutes isn't so bad, especially if grandparents are close by to take over if they needed to.
I'm telling myself that about the drinks as well! MH is excited that he has me as a designated driver again lol

smores we're going to save H's vacation hours for the birth. He doesn't get paternity leave. We may stay at an B&B overnight if he still has weekends off by then. His work tends to change his hours/day frequently.
You guys are all so busy! I haven't been to a wedding that I wasn't shooting/assisting in several years. (I'm a photographer not a terrorist.)

@slmck when I was pregnant with my first we went to Disney World and that was fine because there was *some* stuff I could do (although the group we went with walked to fast for a 6 month pregnant woman and I was sick). Then we went to Universal Studios and I was bored out of my mind. They don't even have adequate seating there. Anyway, point of the story - at least you will have some fun stuff to do!

I'm a bridesmaid in SIL's wedding this June. I've already bought my dress, but lucky, the style will hopefully be accommodating to my bump. The bachelorette party is being thrown in Las Vegas mid April (traveling from MN). Flying and walking a bunch shouldn't be too terrible at that point, so I'm actually not worried about it. Slightly bummed that I'll be super sober the entire time, but it's all well worth it.

We're doing Christmas in FL with my step-dad in Ft. Lauderdale, then meeting MIL in Disney for New Years. I have no idea how that trip is going to go with a little baby squish.
I'd rather go with a tiny one who still sleeps all the time than a bigger one who gets more overwhelmed! That sounds so great!

The only thing i can think of is possibly holidays with our family. I'm skeptical on that though, since I'm not sure we can afford to fly any more once our big turns 2.
There's been some mention of weddings and such, so I wanted to talk about things we may have been planning, but now may be sidelined by the pregnancies.
As beautiful and wonderful and life changing it is having a baby, it does stink sometimes if you have to cancel plans.
I have a trip to Ireland in March that I should be fine for, so I'm not concerned about that. I had planned to go down to Charleston for the solar eclipse on August, but have a feeling that will be a no go. It's right at the time I was out on bed rest last pregnancy, so I'm not sure I'll be able to travel this time around. Sad panda.
I thought this said sad placenta and I laughed for literally five minutes.
I hope you avoid bed rest this time around and that you can make the eclipse!
I've got nothing planned this year save for a bunch of camping trips and hopefully moving. I finish my masters in August so I just hope that I can keep up my energy!

We do an annual beach vacation every summer, around June. That's really all I have planned vacation-wise. I do have a LOT of travel coming up for work that will include 5 weeks (1-2 days per week) of overnight stays from April-May and our annual work conference at the end of May for 5 days. Due to all of that, I'm going to go ahead and tell my boss after my first appointment this month.

Congrats on your masters!! I just started towards mine this semester and of course my EDD is in the middle of fall semester so I'll have to take a short hiatus. That's awesome that you'll be done though!

Awesome! What are you going to school for? I had my first somewhere in the middle.

I'm super boring. Nothing big planned. Trying to go to the beach as much as possible in the summer. I plan to be near a body of water every weekend if possible.
Jealous of all of you with fun plans! Congrats to the graduates, can we have cake at the virtual party? Like real cake, not virtual cake?
