crimpgirl I've never heard of mother's wrist. Is in the realm of carpal tunnel?
We had another successful night. DH and I were wide awake at 1 while she slept because the universe is mean. My parents are coming down today for lunch so that should be nice. Edited to add pic. The allusive ballet nap.

Hi....I have 3 month olds. 😭😭😭😭 Hold me. I think they are 13 weeks. No one was excited about taking pictures this morning. Their morning nap is becoming SUPER critical.
I actually weighed them today and Gabriel is 11 pounds and change and Gianna is 13 pounds and change. It's crazy to think how tiny they were just 3 short months ago.
Looks like Leo's fever finally broke. Today he is playing like usual just has a super runny nose. Alex is napping. Hope they both nap in the afternoon. I really want to make enchiladas for dinner.
crimpgirl hey, did not know there was a name for this wrist pain! It's horrible. I blame the crib sleeping. It's awkward placing him down in it. Dh has no problem but I find the side rail too high.

I'm breaking the rules today and kept Jane home with me to "work" I'm pushing my calls to days I'm in the office. It's great that I get to make my own schedule. Jane had a blow out this morning. She's never had one at daycare, she tends to save them for me. So after clean up I decided to wear her today.
crimpgirl , I'm getting back into running/jogging with walk breaks too - It's been warm here but rainy and I have a jogging stroller. I'm pretty excited to get back into it. I miss the endorphins! I'm thinking I'll do the couch to Marathon plan in the latest Women's Running Magazine. I'm not focusing on the marathon though, just getting back into running. I ran a half marathon in 2010 in Seattle, then in 2011 broke my ankle and haven't been back to normal until now. I hope it goes well. So far I just get tightness in my ankle and it's easy to relieve. I haven't heard of the wrist thing either, just mommy arm.
Sorry I've been MIA for a while - we've been busy!
Here's my sweet buddy, who is 2 months old today. He had his 2 month shots this morning, which he was very sad about. He is currently asleep on top of me and occasionally waking up to whimper.
He is a little over 13 lbs, moved up to size 2 diapers over this weekend, and is rapidly outgrowing his 0-3 month clothes.
He's definitely more alert and interactive now. He is generally a very smiley baby. He's starting to bat at the toys in his activity gym and likes to "talk" too. So much fun!
We've been trying to get out of the house more, going to a moms group once a week, the the women's Bible study at church, etc.
I've got to go to a doctors appointment this afternoon to follow up again for my mastitis abscess. This will be my 9th appointment in a month (not even including my 6 week postpartum appointment)! I also started my 5th week of antibiotics on Monday. I'm really hoping this is the last one! I've also got a cold, which I really hope N doesn't catch.

So, since our New Hampshire getaway was cancelled, H and I decided to do some outlet shopping this afternoon to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather. It's so weird that we're getting a huge snowstorm tomorrow and it's almost 60 degrees today. New England, sigh.

Sorry you had to cancel. 😥
Thanks, we were bummed but it's OK. MIL offered to watch the babies on Tuesday so I think H and I might do a daytrip to one of the small mountains around here. That should be nice since we will be able to ski together.

Decided to go to the grocery store to pick up some items. Stopped at Wendys for lunch. Alex has been sleeping but I'm afraid he'll wake up soon hungry. Leo is a slow eater.
W we had a rough nap day yesterday. I've had to learn to eat holding him and at times prepped food while he nursed. Toddlers don't know the word wait when it comes to food.
Apparently our 2 month vaccines have made us VERY VERY SAD. N woke up from his nap screaming. We gave him some Tylenol and, after a little more screaming, he is back asleep on me. Hopefully the Tylenol helps because I have to bring him with me to my dr appt this afternoon . . .

I wonder if mommy arm is the same thing?
That sounds like a great plan for getting back to running!! It's been cold and icy here so I'm still on the treadmill. I'll have to check out that plan! How do you like the jogging stroller?
I'm getting used to it. It turns so easy I kind of get caught up on it, but I do like it.
