Oh my goodness, Kate Mckinnon is going to be voicing Mz. Frizzle in the Magic Schoolbus reboot! I hope they can capture her comic genius properly. 😎 bzfd.it/2kszxwE
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.

We buy beef from local farmers and fill a chest freezer. #pretentiousbeef We have 1/4 of beef in our freezer right now. I'm not sure exactly how many pounds of ground beef that included but I think there are at least 25 lbs.
I have no issue buying a giant pork loin at Costco and dividing it into roasts or chops, or dividing up the value packs of chicken legs into Ziploc freezer bags. The only thing I'd question about the $1/lb ground beef is what percent of it is actually meat...

H will go to our local butcher every few months and buy $50-100 worth of ground beef at a time. It comes prepackaged in 1lb tubes. Goes straight in our deep freezer.
I lost my second freezer space but I would buy the shit out of ground beef at $1/lb. Then I'd swing by Best Buy for a chest freezer if need be. I sub ground turkey for beef a lot, but MH prefers beef and some things are just better with beef. Plus, that's muuuuuch cheaper than what I typically pay for the ground turkey. We eat at least one meal with ground beef or turkey each a week.
yeah ground beef is easy to use up, especially with 2 young men in the house. McBenny's list is good and she is the only person aside from my mom that makes hamburger steak.
My mom could make 100 things with hamburger. Most days I can get roast beef or pork cheaper than hamburger at the grocery which makes no sense to me at all.
hamburger in spaghetti sauce meatballs meatloaf hamburger steak or Salisbury steak shepherd's pie cheeseburgers tacos or taco salad or fried rolled tacos green or red enchiladas in creamy mushroom sauce over noodles or rice you can use in stroganoff Korean bbq stuffed shells stuffed bell peppers or zucchini hamburger tomato veggie soup hamburger used to make beef stew sloppy joes make with hamburger gravy and serve as hot "roast beef" style sandwiches and mashed potatoes hamburger in fried rice isn't bad if you add enough seasonings hamburger mac
