TTMA crib bedding. What do I need? I've registered for several crib sheets in cute little prints, but honestly I'd like to just have something ivory to go with our neutrals theme, and one of these two quilts below. But do you put a quilt in a crib? Isn't that like a safety hazard or something when they're sleeping? And do I need something else besides a sheet? All the sets I can find are "themed" and I don't want a theme.

I think crib sheet is the only thing you can have on the crib akraus2015. I don't even think you can use bumpers....I'm assuming you can have a crib skirt too as that's not really in the crib.

So maybe like just a sheet, and then get one of those quilts as decoration to hang over the top when he's not in his crib?

Correct. No blankets pillows bumpers or stuffies.
Just a tight fitting sheet, what they are wearing, such as a sleeper and a wearable blanket when it is colder. Swaddling is fine before they can roll.

Yes, you should remove all blankets and bedding as well as all stuffed toys before putting the baby on his back to sleep.

I have just a fitted sheet in each crib. But I also sewed matching quilts for the girls. One is draped on the glider to be used for cuddle sessions. They can use the quilts when they're older.

akraus2015 we got one of those bedding sets with DD. She's never ever used the quilt and she's two. We do a fitted sheet and and the crib skirt.
I recommend multiple fitted sheets and at least two of the waterproof covers. That way for middle of the night accidents you can just rip it off and stick the other on real quick.
We did go through a phase where we actually use our bumper (she was older and very mobile) and would get her legs jammed through the crib slats. We don't use it anymore though.

My crib set will be some a la carte sheets, a crib skirt and a couple sleep sacks.
If you are turning the crib into their toddler bed you can save the quilt to use then. But they may want a Paw Patrol one at that point. 😜

You can do arms out swaddling when they can roll. We swaddled arms out until 9ish months
We broke the rules on bumpers when he started traveling the crib at night, around 3 months. He got a lovey at 2 months.
I'll warn you, once baby can roll, they may roll over onto the belly to sleep. Until they learn to roll back over, expect to be woken up to correct their position when they wake and realize they're on their bellies
As for the quilt... the only time we used it was for the back drop of our monthly photos. DS1 still only goes down with A&A muslin and Tula blankets at 2.
And for when to use bumpers or lovers (if you choose so), make sure baby has good head control and can turn it consistently and well. DS1 had above average head control since birth so we were comfortable with giving him the lovey and bumper that early
I wonder what it is about those types of shoes. My actual work shoes are similar and boy do they freaking smell. I wear stockings with mine but damn
I wear mine barefoot lol. I come into work in flip flops and switch under my desk. I hate shoes.
I'd do barefoot if they didn't irritate the hell out of the back of my feet.. I also hate shoes. Although, I've been wearing either my uggs or moccasins to work if I'm not going on an inspection because comfort

I think it's time to find DS1 a new pedi endo. Sigh. He sees the head of the department at the local children's hospital but I don't like how she brushes off our questions nor how she barely even says hi before handing over the blood slip and being on to the next patient. Sigh
