Give me all the drinks. DD1 had an epic meltdown when I picked her up from daycare. Two teachers had to help me wrangle her and carry her to the car and some random mom carried DD2 in her car seat for me. I'm so embarassed.

Don't be. It's happened to us all.
I once had to call Mh to help me get DS in his car seat at pick up.
I want to hulk smash MH right now. I made a huge lasagna for dinner, he came home from work and ate a tiny bit, said it was ok and went and made 2 slices of toast.

Thanks. I wasn't going to drink tonight but that plan went right out the window.

Nothing to be embarrassed about!
I've told the story before, but when DD was 4, she ran off and hid under a round rack at Target. She threw a tantrum when I tried to grab her and told an employee I was trying to steal her.
Ugh looks like we are supposed to get 10 inches Thursday night and Friday. Great, we already had freezing rain and ice pellets this morning. Oh well, at least it warmed up enough today for my washing machine to defrost

Two hours in security over that one.
. Omg, literal lol. Thank you, I needed that laugh!
I met my brother's new baby today! Nine pounds of squishy snuggles. I was slightly concerned that I might come down with baby fever, but nope, I'm in the clear.
But PSA if your child likes Star Wars, the Jedi Training Academy at HS is awesome. It's hard to get into, you basically have to line up before the park opens and then run straight to the sign-up, but it's worth it. They participate in a stage show with jedi robes and light sabres, and they get to fight Vader one-on-one.
Both DH and I have WFH tomorrow, thankfully, as the nanny already told us she ain't showing up. She didn't come yesterday either because of snow and we ended up paying $350 for a drop-in center. Ugh.
DH is out getting snow day snacks. He's a good cook but I know he's going to suck at this errand. He's going to come back with some goldfish crackers and milk. I should have specified a list of yummy junk.
Am I misreading? $350 for a day?!
For two kids, and from 11-5. Ugh. They really have you over a barrel for drop in care, and they know it. And this was right outside Boston so there was probably a long list of suckers who would pay that rate for a slot.

So....is this open to adults too? Asking for a friend.
