Not "feeling old" in a bad way, just amusing or fun to think of us all at totally different life stages when common pop cultural references happened.
Something kind of related and funny, to me anyway....
I remember in college hanging out with my internship preceptor, who was 9 years older than me. That old song, "Bye Bye, Miss American Pie" came on. Him: "Ahh this takes me back to high school." Me: "Oh, me, too! I was totally into classic rock." Him: *looking like I just punched him in the gut* It was't "classic" when he was in high school. :-\ Oops. I'm a jerk.
FFFC for another time: I was totally Lewinsky-ing said internship preceptor.SaveSave
I like what you did there with the Lewinsky reference. ;-)
This board always reminds me that us "old" SoCal moms are an anomaly compared to the rest of the country. I'm used to being an average aged first time mom at 35 among my friends of local moms but on this board I'm old AF.
It's definitely funny to hear all the different averages of first time moms in different areas. In my circle of friends, I was getting kind of old to be having my first. And I was 29!
